Old Orchard Inn

"The hotel is situated on a hill above Wolfville and the surrounding valley. Great view from our room (odd room number). We had some issues with our next door neighbors the first night but Kaitlin, at the front desk, was magnificent in helping us though that and some other minor issues. She is a peach. Good restaurant and facilities. We would happily return."

"We loved that there was a restaurant on site, which was exceptional, we had a lovely winery and wine tour, which was excellent and we had a continental breakfast every morning, which was more than sufficient. Our room was oversized in our bathroom was ginormous. We also love the history of the property and the historic building that our rooms were in. Highly recommend it to all."

"The owners have obviously poured a lot of time, effort and love into the property. Breakfast was superb, with everything from egg bites to prosciutto and yogurt, and many things gluten-free. Bathroom was excellent and heated floor much appreciated. One suggestion: Those with tricky backs and knees will not love Room 10, advertised as “Sunny Queen/Twin Bunk Bed.” The queen frame is on the floor, like an old-style futon, and we seniors struggled a bit to get up off it in the middle of the night, and manoeuvre around the loft ladder and legs."

"I was an Expedia VIP customer for the first time. Serge greeted me and assisted with getting me a welcome treat. Soft towels, jetted tub. Pleanty of hot water. Quiet room. Plenty of lighting. Large lot to park in. The only con is there is no level parking for motorcycles. Something they could improve on another otherwise amazing place."

"This is a great Super 8! I hesitate to stay in them in some cities, but this one acts like a full business class hotel. It’s very clean, modern and the staff are super friendly. And the water slide is fast! Woah! Bummer there is no gym or sauna. It looks like there used to be, but oh well! Great place to stay in the valley!"

"Our room at The Evangeline was perfect - spacious, comfortable, and clean! Check in was stressful - the code they emailed didn’t work… luckily we found a staff person who let us in. We didn’t take advantage of the pool or hot tub, but lots of folks did! We enjoyed two breakfasts and two dinners at the Hotel’s Longfellow restaurant. Wait staff was excellent - food delicious!"
