「Great」

「First time staying at the Tasman Moama with two younger children. We loved the amenities and our one bedroom premium villa was modern and clean. Staff keep you updated via text message on daily activities/food vans etc which is very convenient. A couple minor things - there is not a lot of crockery or glassware, which is odd but a cheap and easy fix. Also would have expected some more activities, particularly over a long weekend. 「The Sportslander is just what I expected, an older motel that had all the basics covered. The room was older style, clean and on the end of a 10 day straight run of over 40 deg temps the pool and aircon did the job, the bed was comfy, there was no noise and had a good night sleep. For a budget one night stay, it did the job very well. 」

「Didn't realise this was a contactless hotel with no reception. I checked in later in the day after driving up from Melbourne. Didn't realise ther was no ironing board in the room. I had a function that evening and needed to iron my clothes. I sent a text message to the hotel and called but there was no answer. Thanksfully, a man arrived within 20 minutes to deliver an iron and ironing board. Other than that, and the cramped parking, my stay was great. Just request ahead of time if you need to...

「Great park right on the river. Cabin was roomy clean and fantastic view from the deck of the Murray River. Peaceful and quiet. Short bike ride or walk to the Bowling Club. Great communal BBQ areas」

「The owner provide everything we need (water, milk, towel, etc), really appreciate their attentive service.」

「 I had a concerning experience during our stay. The room doors shut very quickly and forcefully, which can be dangerous—especially for children. Unfortunately, my daughter’s finger got stuck in the door. Thankfully, she wasn’t injured very badly, but it was a very scary moment for us. I strongly recommend the hotel consider installing soft-closing mechanisms or safety features to prevent such incidents in the future. No questions asked at all - she's a very small dog though. it was a small but comfy room, bed was nice and soft as I like it. only issues are the towel which were clean but old and quit thin, and the TV which had pretty much no channels on it - not that that is a deal breaker these days as I'm generally too busy Workington watch tv anyway.」
