Although it is by no meas a fancy 5star hotel it a very good and well maintained place for what it is. I'll explain, if you like the ocean, the outdoors, or have a boat the place is for you. Even if you don't have a boat they make arrangements and get you either a rental one for to go out and enjoy fishingor better yet they will find you a boat with a captain that woyld take you around. The property while we were there is undergoing more renovations and adding more amenities. . It very calmed and quiet ideal for families .
This little resort was perfect. Was low key & had everything we needed to enjoy a nice boys trip. Boat rental prices were definitely some of the best around. Been visiting this place for 3 yrs now & try & make it at least twice a year. The key deer is definitely a treat to be around them almost always.

Room was very clean and they made check-in very easy, even with us arriving after hours. Such a cute, laid back place.
Nothing really to complain about. Room was nice and clean. Price was comparable to other places for a weekend rate. The pictures of the property make you think it is all on the water. It isn't but still just across the street from water

Yes the room was equipped but i would liked to have had coffee for the coffee maker. The temp. was good
Check in qas minutes. Got there early and took boat out. When we returned back from a beautiful day on the water our apt. was ready. Jimmy the dock hand was so helpful and the office staff was great with us. We took our dog, no problem. The key deer are all over the place, when you cook out the grill they must think it's dinner time, was so cool to see them. Remember, do not touch or feed them. 10 of 10!
We stayed 4 night and it was absolutely amazing experience. Location to stores and restaurants was very close. Room/Boat was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. We rented a boat for the day and it was very easy to pickup and drop off. The support staff was friendly and helpful when ever needed

We stayed in the pink cabin, duplex, you first walk in you could smell the bug spray from them trying to exterminate the roaches that were still all over the apartment. Every time we turn, the light on roaches would be running in the kitchen in the bathroom in the bedroom. The window unit air-conditioning in the front living room/kitchen did not work, All I did was blow warm air out. There was units in both bedrooms, and those two worked relatively acceptable as long as you kept the doors closed from the front room.
Our son stayed in one of the newer apartments that are up on stilts. As soon as you walk into the apartment, you smell the strong stench of black mold.upon further investigation when you go into the bathroom, the ceiling was covered with black mold. This property has a lot of potential if the owner would just take some time and put some money back into these apartments to make them livable.
We had a terrible check-in, not the resorts fault but Expedia. We were on the phone for over an hour with expedia customer service goung back and forth about our check in time, but luckily when we got there the worker was super friendly and had everything ready for us. Its a very neat experience and cozy. Very good layout for the size of boathouse so nothing felt crammed. Overall would definitely go again. In fact, we booked another night there.

Enjoyed the duplex, instead of a standard hotel room. Full kitchen, nice bathroom, and bedroom.

We will definitely stay here again. Perfect spot to relax. Clean Rooms
The Old Wooden Bridge Resort and Marina was perfect for our needs. It's quiet and laid back with super friendly staff. Jimmy was incredibly helpful and adds a colorful flair to the place. He knows the great places to fish. We stayed in one of the newer duplexes. It was clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with basic utensils. We did have neighbors that we could hear during the afternoon, but at night everything was quiet.. The veranda was the perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee and enjoy the breeze and the water. They have floating bungalows to stay in, but we did not get a chance to see them. The key deer came around and wandered through the property freely. If you are looking for simple and clean with a friendly and laid back vibe, this may be the perfect place for you. We will definitely be back!
