Property was great. Welcoming staff, great food. Only slight issue was that Expedia hadn’t communicated with the property about the breakfast inclusion. Not a problem for us, the staff were really helpful, but not great from Expedia.
I booked the small room and was surprised how spacious and comfortable it is. It’s a very old building, room is well appointed and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast delivered to room each morning was convenient and delicious.
Great location for Bicester Village. Extremely short walk from train station.
Room clean and incredibly comfortable.
Check in is at the bar and it was no problem, staff v helpful.
The Plough has new management, it is ‘ tired’ but a staff member told us it was going to be renovated. It was super convenient for our needs on this trip. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included and a few options were offered.
All good free parking 2 min walk into town were other pubs with sky for football restaurants shops etc room very clean room 5 a bit compact but fine
Service was excellent from the bar staff and breakfast staff breakfast was severed from 8 but because i needed to be away let me have mine at 7 30 am reallly good
Pub downstairs cosy and with a wide range of food and beer i would stay again thank you
Our stay at The Plough was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, there was a wide range of bar snacks and food. The meal we had at the restaurant, and breakfast were first class. But the most amazing experience was the wonderful service we had from Sean and the rest of the team. It was a brilliant stay and we can't wait to go back.

Good pub and Breaky - not great room
It's a great little country pub. The welcome was warm, and the breakfast was very good. My room was ok (room 5 first floor), the ensuite is small (a larger person would not fit). The bed was creaky and uncomfortable and the noise from the bar is very loud.
This might be the friendliest place in England! Great afternoon in the bar watching rugby, nice dinner, decent wine, comfy bed fab breakfast. A lovely find.
Stayed two nights and enjoyed the magnificent service provided by the staff. They were extremely helpful and nothing was an inconvenience. The room was a good size, with ample facilities, except not enough teabags which was soon rectified. Would definitely recommend.

Quant wee pub in central location. Only 15min walk to Bicester Outlet Village. Rooms are nicely furnished with great touches like alternative milks. A old character building - The walls are quite thin & the flooring creaks. I missed breakfast so cannot comment on it.
Room was very tired, tried to be shabby chic, just shabby. When booking the free breakfast was a draw, it turned out to be in a cardboard box in the room, we turned it down. The room was clean and the staff were nice. Not worth the money by a long stretch.

A poor experience
On arrival I was told that the kitchen wasn't open that night and I could get something to eat locally, I asked for a VAT receipt and was told I'd get that in the morning. I went doen for breakfast (which I'd paid for) in the morning, to find that everywhere was locked up. I tried again later and it was still locked up. I tried again at 8:30 and a couple of guys were there and they told me that they only open at 10am, despite their website saying that they open at 7am. I was working and needed to be on site, nearby for 9am so I left. I received an emailed receipt later in the day, the rate included breakfast! The internet didn't work, there was no kettle in the room (there was a coffee machine) and you had to move furniture to get to a plug point to charge your phone etc.
Check in. Friendly although undertrained girl who informed me breakfast served up to 8:45am.
I’d booked through hotels.com and booking stated including breakfast.
Room. Very small. But not too bad.
Evening meal. Waited around to be seated quite a while but eventually got table (place wasn’t busy). First girl from reception came over to table and said she had forgotten to take £50 deposit against damage. Never like if when asked for this sort of thing, but maybe that’s just me.
Meal was good.
Next morning came down to go for breakfast around 7:45. Whole place locked up and no staff at all on premises.
Went back to room and worked for an hour. Came back down 8:45am. In case the girl had said started 8:45 (which would be unusual, but could happen I suppose). Still no one around.
Left as I had meeting to go to.
Came back about 11:30 as I’d dopily left my phone in room 🙄
There was a staff member there having a smoke and tea and after I got my phone I said to her that I’d tried to get my breakfast. She said ‘oh they don’t do breakfast any more.’
She was nice enough but wasn’t bothered really. No hint of a ‘sorry’
I try to go to establishments that aren’t your standard Premier Inn or Holiday Inn, but sometimes you wonder why you bother.
Avoid.
Unfortunately i paid for bed and breakfast but discovered in arrival tha tthis isnt provided any more
I spoke with a member of staff who said he would investigate as this is an issue with third party sites but unfortunately didnt get back to me and staff were available in the morning
