The location of the hotel and its commanding view of the le Grand Plage is amazing. The history of the hotel as a summer palace for Napoleon explains its iconic design and presence
The pool area is amazing overlooking the Atlantic
Beautiful location overlooking the beach and ocean. Hotel is equally exceptional with wonderful staff and the property is historic and maintained as if were built within the last year.
Phenomenal Hotel!
Property overlooking the ocean with an incredible staff. Beautiful pool and spa. Special thanks to Laura the hotel manager and Benjamin our concierge for outstanding service in every regard!
Every single employee is great. The food is fantastic. That sunday brunch iw a spectacle. The rooms could not be better. Without a doubt next visit we will also stay at du Palais Biarritz. Employees like Alvaro at front desk and Adrian at luggage, main door. They were very kind and helpful
Exceptional experience
One of the best hotel by the beach
Hotel with great location, history and beautiful interior design.
I can’t wait to be back there again.
Exceptional service, highly welcoming staff, and an unbeatable location. The rooms are stunning and spacious, and dining here is truly a memorable experience. I will come back again.
All the staff and in particular Emma of the Concierge have been great and very helpful in sorting out a problem and getting us to the airport when our rented car had broken down.
Many thanks again
I have stayed several times here, almost everytime I've been to Biarritz, and the reception has always been courteous and professional. The rooms have always been beautiful and luxuriously well appointed. Each arrival has been lovely, with reception, check in, car and luggage, and in all my stays, there was only one problem, that was quickly, and graciously, resolved. The hotel is right on the beach, and it's an easy walk down to dig your toes in the sand! It has become a welcome refuge.
The property, from architecture to experience, is all about luxury. From the initial greeting to departure, the entire stay was lovely. I had a beautiful room with 5 (or 6?) floor to ceiling windows, a bathtub (💖), and twin beds. We were welcomed with champagne and lemon cookies, and the complimentary teas were delicious and high quality. The welcome for my little dog was sweet and beautiful. And although the chef has recently changed, the wait staff is knowledgeable, refined, and gracious. My thanks to Nisma, Denis, and others at reception, to Pierre and Christophe, the voituriers, and to the young lady who engraved the little dog tag for Rambo, many thanks!

We stayed for 3 nights. I am a Expedia platinum member and they had an upgrade available but the check in staff couldn’t agree with each other to give us upgrade. The big elderly lady with big black glasses was rude and obnoxious refused that France didn’t care about Expedia members, only if I booked with AMX I could get upgraded. Room was ok, bathroom was very small, for $1000 a night not worth it at all. The view of the beach was nice which we paid for it, otherwise very old dated hotel but looks glamorous. Our friends had a large suite but they were not happy with the smell of old dated wood. Service was ok, staff , most of them as rude as they could be. Breakfast was good but again staff are rude and slow. Dinner was good but not great for a Michelin star. Area around the hotel are nice and charming, lots of shops and restaurants. Overall it would be a nicer stay if there wasn’t so much attitude around.
It's a beautiful property, perfectly maintained. Staff is great, helpful and friendly, food at breakfast is great and the views are unbelievable.
Most definitely would recommend to anyone traveling to Biarritz, it is definitely worth it.
