「Advertised as hotel but is actually on one floor of an old apartment building. Bathroom plumbing caused toxic septic smell throughout entire stay.」

「They mention the reception provide 24-hour service but there is only security staff on duty at night. The security guard can't provide service e.g. request for toilet paper, how to operate laundry machine, etc」

The apartment was nothing like the listing described, and certainly not worthy of the 5-star rating shown on the site. It was damp, smelled musty, and there were visible signs of moisture damage — possibly even mold. We tried to contact both the property and Hotels.com during the stay. The property never responded, and despite our detailed complaint, Hotels.com...

「The apartment is one of many in the same block. Regrettably, it is unclear which photos refer to the apartment one is booking. For example they show a terraced area for dining but with no indication to which flat it refers. Also we reported that the TV did not work (or connect to the internet) on day one. By day four no one had repaired it. 」
