"Great all around"

"Our stay at the Baymont was a disaster! Initially we were placed in a room that was adjacent to a service room that had ongoing noisy equipment, and needless to say, we weren’t going to get any sleep being in that room. We requested being moved to another room so that we could get some sleep after a long day driving on the road. By the next morning we had discovered room conditions that were shockingly disgusting. Summed up, areas around the room were covered in dust and filth that resembled a crypt that had been ignored for a very long period of time. There were portions of the walls that were in definite need of repair, along with a long crack along the wall and ceiling that seemed to be covered with mold. Couldn’t wait to report our findings, along with several pictures which I both showed and emailed to the desk clerk that exhibited our concerns, as we were getting ready to check out. We stated to the desk clerk that we should not be charged for a room that had such despicable conditions. Strangely, the clerk did not even seem surprised at our report regarding the condition of our room, but basically indicated that there was nothing he could do regarding cancelling charges for the room. I immediately requested to see the manager, but was informed that he wasn’t in yet and that I could come back in ten minutes to see him. "Parking easy and always felt safe. Staff was friendly & helpful. As a Hilton member I got a text once in room asking if everything was alright and that I should contact her for anything I needed. Very nice. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was your typical hotel fare but staff there kept the area clean and well stocked. 5 stars "

"The registration staff, housekeeping and the woman that ran the kitchen were all patient, helpful and respectful. Responsive to our needs. The food was the best I've had at any hotel that includes it with the stay. If I would return to this area I would stay here again."
