Would love to return to the Manor House hotel

We were warmly greeted by Lynn. The hotel is charming, the room very comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. We asked Lynn to suggest somewhere to eat in the evening and she promptly searched on line for a choice of restaurants. After dinner We drove the short distance to the Lindesfarne causeway and watched the tide come in accompanied by an amazing sunset.

Charming English B&B

My mum and I stayed here one night and it was a wonderful B&B with a lot of charm and history. It is a little ways away from Berwick but offered the piece and quiet we were looking for. The only feedback I would give is to advise customers prior to arrival that only cash or cheques are accepted.

Quality B&B close to Lindisfarne

Lovely house & garden. Good sized room thoughtfully decorated. There was an extensive range of breakfast options. I chose smoked haddock and poached egg and it was cooked to perfection. There was also a lovely fresh fruit salad to start. It was a friendly establishment.

Warm welcome and good location

It was perfect for visiting Lindisfarne Island. Lyn the host was fantastic nothing too much trouble. We ate there both nights and the food was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Service was very good but the premises are a little "tired". Towels were thin and frayed. Sounds a bit harsh but at this price it is not good value. Breakfast was excellent though.
