「There was no air-conditioning so we struggled the first night but brought a cheap fan for the remaining 3 nights of our stay and that was perfect. We got a free upgrade to a large, beautifully appointed room on our last night which was fantastic. The breakfasts were yummy, the owners were friendly and welcoming and they even have a wee dog, Lola, who gave us some dog love! Handy spot, beautifully renovated. We really enjoyed our stay!」

「I’m not sure if the beds in this motel had been changed before we arrived. When we unfolded the blankets around 9 PM to sleep, we found hair on the double bed, which was really off-putting. I then checked one of the single beds and, upon closer inspection, noticed hair there as well.
