Staff was extremely helpful. The restaurant (including the bar area) was very cosy. They offered the free city pass which we used to visit their Old Town. The tram station was near by.

It is not centrally located, but only 15 minutes walking distance and 7 minutes by public transportation to the city center. It is very clean, the staff is very helpful and the breakfast is excellent. I would recommend it anytime.

The hotel is overall standard, clean, and compared to other hotels closer to city center is ok priced (for Switzerland). The only downside was shower temperature, it was going from boiling hot to freezing cold constantly and there was no way to regulate it. Also there was no kettle in the room and no option to get free tea from the reception area. You can buy tea from the hotel bar for 4CHF, the tea is a simple twinings teabag. Location wise there's not much around, as in there are no restaurants and bars but the tram stop is just outside the hotel so it wasn't a problem. Hotel offers free public transport ticket, make sure to ask for it!

Not good for families with kids

Booked a double room for three nights to stay with my family, (spouse + 6 year old kid). We were not allowed to stay there and were asked to book another room due to there policies. We ended up booking an extra room (total of 2 rooms) in the same hotel for the night, Had to pay ~$ 100 although we never used the second room (ended up staying in the same room as a family). Had to stay in the Novotel hotel(next to Ibis under the same management) for next two night which cost me extra ~ $ 300 for the saty than I anticipated. It is strange that I never had this issue in other hotels in Switzerland (or any other country) during my 30 days trip in Europe. Reasonably OK hotel for the money. Front desk staff not friendly or helpful at all. I would not stay there again and not recommending families with kids to stay there.

It was very limited and inconvenient for the stay as the area was looks very abandoned because the facilities hotel offers are not enough inside the hotel and surrounding are very boring I won’t recommend to satay with family there

Este hotel es excelente! No esta muy lejos del centro de Berna, un tranvía que esta a media cuadra te acerca y ademas el hotel te brinda un TK para transporte gratuito. la atención fue excelente, el hotel es muy cómodo y bonito. Tiene una gran recepcion donde se puede desayunar y ademas tiene un piso entero para almorzar, trabajar o bien pasar el tiempo. La sala tiene cubiertos, agua caliente, microondas, metegol y muchas mesas cómodas para sentarse a almorzar o cenar. la habitación estaba mas que bien, super limpio, tienen aire acondicionado!!! algo mágico en Suiza. Lo super recomiendo, fue un 10!
