Very clean and comfortable hotel for the solo traveller; beds are comfortable and good black out curtains. Spacious bathroom and shower with excellent hot water and water pressure. Really great location in Berlin's Mitte area that is minutes from Alexanderplatz which makes travel super easy. Walk further up to Alte Schönhauser Straße or Rosenthaler Straße for great shopping and food. Didn't include breakfast in my stay, but from walking past in the morning it looked like a good selection and well made.

The check-in was bad. Arrogant staff that told me that they only had rooms facing the train tracks but then gave people that came after me a room facing the garden. Asked why I didn't call ahead of my visit and when i showed them i had called twice and waiting 10 minutes each time for them to answer than I was asked why I didn't send an email. Room was small, but clean. I heard the train passing and no way to have the window open because of the train traffic. I recommend that you bring earplugs.

The room was clean with a lovely ambience, and the location is excellent—just a short 5-minute walk to Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz station. Staff friendliness was a bit hit and miss, and the breakfast options were limited with no toaster available. Overall, a convenient place to stay if location is your priority.

Hyvä moderni hotelli Alexanderplatzin vieressä.

Hotellin sijainti oli loistava liikenneyhteyksien (Alaxanderplatzin vieressä) ja ostosmahdollisuuksien suhteen. Pidimme modernista desginista, mutta huoneet ovat valitettavasti kovin pieniä, ainakin jos mukana on isoja matkalaukkuja. Aamiainen jäi valitettavasti testaamatta aikaisen lähdön vuoksi. Pidimme hinta-laatusuhdetta hyvänä.

Amazing location, within a short walking distance from Alexanderplatz with convenient connectivity to every corner of Berlin and plenty of excellent vegan restaurants within a short walking distance. The room was small, the curtains weren't enough to block the sun and we waked up at 7 am every morning due to the light. The mattress on the bed was too soft and the pillows were terrible, the quality of our sleep was bad. No real door in the shower, it's one of those partial doors, so every time we took a shower the entire floor was wet. To summarize it, amazing location, but low quality room.

Great stay

We had a great stay at Motel One. Everything was very clean and the lobby is super cute. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. I wish the air conditioning worked a little better. It worked but wasn’t super cold. Otherwise great stay!

Excellent and efficient hotel very close to (in between) Alexanderplatz and Hackersher Markt. I had no trouble checking in very late due to a late arrival, the breakfast buffet was nice, and the room and bathroom were super clean. The hotel lobby also has an excellent bar and a quiet courtyard to enjoy a drink.

Really convenient and the staff were amazing. Only thing that let it down was the rooms being quite hot which didn’t seem to change even with air con on — our friends were also affected by this.
