Incorrect photos on site. We did not have a coffee machine and were told the photos online have been out of date for over a year. The hotel was clean. The handwash dries out your skin so take your own (we thought it might be body wash).

Perfect find, lovely new Hotel with courteous, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We needed restaurant recommendation and the suggestion of Jafo was spot on. 10 minute walk from hotel. Otherwise, the neighborhood is a bit rundown with lots of trash and neglected public parks. There is a canal nearby with a restaurant ship.

The staff is always helpful and kind— Nadine, Andreas, Roan, stefan, and the italian lady at breakfast. Very clean facility and the pool and sauna is very relaxing to a tired day.The garden is nice when there are no smokers, and it’s a quiet area. A few improvements can be made: -the mattress is too firm - the floors need soundproofing, i can hear footsteps all the time above me. -the wifi is not strong. Video calls are difficult.

The Yard was fantastic! The hotel is perfectly located and quiet at the same time. The beds and pillows are VERY comfortable and the staff was super nice and helpful. This is definitely my go to place in Berlin from now on.

Really nice big rooms, good shower, very comfortable beds. Quiet area so no disturbances at night. Breakfast was a little limited, but all v nice quality. The location is slightly out of the way, not quite hipster Kreuzberg. All cafes etc are a good 10-15 min walk away, and the metro station is also 10 mins. Nicest thing we did locally was an evening walk along the canal side up to Admiral Bridge, where there were huge numbers of locals sitting along the bridge and river bank, having picnics, sharing drinks and listening to music.

Very pleasant stay at Hotel the Yard

We stayed at Hotel the Yard for 3 nights and it served us perfectly. Our room was clean and modern, had all the amenities we required except a fridge but for such a short stay it wasn't an issue for us. The location was ideal, in a quiet area but close enough to the centre of Kreuzberg. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the cost of our stay was reasonable.

Good location between two metro stops. Nice facilities and spacious rooms. Neighborhood is safe in spite of graffiti and trash (seems to be an issue in the whole eastern sector of Berlin). Staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

Lovely staff, weird problems with the AC

Nice and clean in a quite part of town. But i had a lot of problens with the AC at around 20-21 thw AC in the room went up to 24.5 the staff arrange another room for the night but the problem kept returning. Staff was really nice and tried to help 🙂
