The staff at as very helpful and friendly and the location was close to where I needed to be. But it’s not close to much to see or do and it’s in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

Great hotel in quiet location

The only negative for me was arriving after reception had closed. I found getting in to hotel difficult A guest came and let me in and showed me how to set up the keycard. Room was good. Not quite as homely as I am used to but comfortable bed. Great shower. Kettle in room but no tea/coffee or mug. What is the point? Staff at reception when open were lovely and very helpful. The lady on the front desk was amazing. It would have been nice to have coffee/team making facilities in the room and help getting bags up the front stairs. It was a short stay but I’d definitely stay there again. Breakfast was awesome too. I liked the bar room. Really good idea. After hours entrance was very easy as well

Nice and clean hotel. The room facing the courtyard was quiet. Only the birds started singing very loudly at 4 am! No unnecessary(!) cleaning during my stay of 5 days.

Ruhige lage in einem wohnquartier, 5minuten bis zum bus oder 10min zur ubahn, 15min bis zu den restaurants im bergmannkiez. Gutes Frühstück. Service war mässig: Rezeption war nur bis 16uhr geöffnet (self checkin), zimmerreinigung musste bestellt werden, bettwäsche wurde während unseres 7tage aufenthalts nicht gewechselt. Zimmer bequem, fussbodenheizung im badezimmer haben wir sehr geschätzt, das Licht im Zimmer war etwas dunkel.

Small but very good

Very minimal, one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in, but everyone was nice and the hotel is well-located and offered an excellent breakfast spread. Overall, would recommend.

Could this be my best stay ever?

This was a singluar experience and highly recommended. A small boutique hotel smack in the middle of Kreuzberg with one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. A good price, a nice breakfast to boot, and a very friendly staff made me wow to go back as soon as I have a chance.
My small and cosy single room. Compact and still roomy with a lovely feel to it.

A warm welcome on a cold October afternoon. Oh, it's good to be back at The Johann in the heart of Kreuzberg. The quiet, clean rooms, the smiling staff, the cosy lounge, the backyard. Nothing here is a problem. Easy access to Prinzenstrasse and Merringdamm stations... and from there, Berlin is your oyster.

Superb hotel - friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel is excellent, from which to explore Berlin, in a peaceful location, but with the U- Bahn within easy reach. We definitely highly recommend the Hotel Johann and will return.

Che fortuna averti scelto

Eccellente, tutto quello che desidera una persona che a volte può non essere soddisfatta dei B&Bs paraculi o degli hotel che hanno dimenticato che un soggiorno in camera è fatto di cento attenzioni e non solo di dieci. Johann soddisfa tutte e cento i requisiti. Centrale, oltretutto in uno dei quartieri più caratteristici. Camere bellissime, con tutto 8ma proprio tutto). Elegante, pulito, attento.
