No heat in the room

It was very cold in the room in the first night, I spoke with the person from the reception the next day and I explained that it was very cold in the room and I couldn't take a shower. He tried to lie to me like in Germany heat starts only if it is below 10 ° degrees and only 3 times a day the heat starts at night that was 6 ° :) :) :) and the next day they bring me an electric heater ... I don't think it's very ok to stay 3 days with an electric radiator at the hotel .. otherwise everything was ok just very shaky with tha heat..

The property owner was very accommodating with my late check in. The room itself was small with sloping ceiling on one side of the bed, but very new and clean. Bathroom was big but small shower. Shower temperature was difficult to adjust as it was either hot or cold. No elevator or fridge in the room but drinking water supplied at reception. The area is very noisy with traffic and drunk people at night due to 24 hour markets close by. Felt a bit unsafe if travelling on your own. The owner is very accommodating and can be contacted anytime if something major is not right in the hotel.

Unglaublich schelcht

Seit 40 Jahren bin ich beruflich viel unterwegs und habe reichlich Erfahrung mir Hotels, aber so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Ein paar Punkte, die das belegen: Die Nachttischlampen standen am Fußboden und die Schalter waren von den Betten aus nicht zu erreichen. Die einzigen Sitzgelegenheiten waren 3 kleine rote Plastikhocker, von denen einer die Grätsche machte. Ich wiege 67 kg! Im Schrank gab es keine Kleiderbügel. Auf Nachfrage bekam ich einen, aber nicht mehr. Am 2. Morgen war das Innere des Kopfkissens zu sehen, es hatte große schwarze Flecken. Ich habe das Kissen demonstrativ so hingelegt, dass das Zimmermädchen es sehen musste. Sie hat es einfach zurückgestopft. Ich habe mir angeekelt ein Kissen eines anderen Betts genommen und natürlich geprüft in welchem Zustand es war. Es war nicht ganz so dreckig! Im Bad wurde lediglich der Boden getrocknet, der beim Duschen nass wurde, weil der Duschvorhang nicht richtig schloss. Gläser wurden nicht gewechselt. Zum Glück konnte ich einen Tag früher abreisen, als geplant, musste aber die gebuchte 6. Nacht bezahlen. Als Kompensation hat man mir ein kostenloses Frühstück angeboten, auf das ich gerne verzichtet habe. Die Fenster sind so schlecht, dass der Straßenlärm fast ungefiltert durchkommt. Leider hatte ich bei der Buchung nicht darauf geachtet, dass auf der einen Seite des Gebäudes eine der Hauptausfallstraßen Berlins vorbeiführt. Der Lärm ist praktisch die ganze Nacht unerträglich. Positiv: Die beiden Damen am Empfang!

Wi-Fiが全然繋がりませんでした。 無料でWi-Fiが使えるとありましたがフリーWi-Fiだったせいかすごく通信が遅かったです。また部屋に共用シャワーとトイレがあるのですが、隣の部屋と共同だったのでとても使いづらかったです。ただ周辺に駅、スーパー、ショッピングモールなどたくさんあったことは便利でした。

Great Hostel. Highly recommend it.

Honestly, I haven't got why few really bad reviews to this hostel. It became the best hostel I have ever been in Berlin. It is my 4th. Good location, public transport just few steps, supermarkets, polite staff quick check-in, lots of options to eat around. Kitchen was clean. Comfy bed. Clean room and ensuite bathroom. They have good wifi in the rooms and common areas.

Noisy room but good hostel

The hostel was good, clean look, staff is fine, there’s a kitchen available if you want to cook your own food. Could be better located in the city, however there’s a shopping mall and a big supermarket nearby, which is great. The room was small, and it had view for the avenue, so it was pretty loud which made it tough to sleep. Overall it’s good, but if you’re looking for a party hostel, that’s not your place.

Internet didn’t work for most of my stay. The shower is a total joke, tiny cramped, and floods the bathroom every time it’s used. (Which I thought was funny since the bathroom itself is actually pretty large.) I had a single bed (not bunk bed) in a room shared with two others. Bed was clean and comfy, but don’t look underneath.. Far from city center, but right next to trains. Large grocery with lots of cheap beer very close. Excellent kabob shop one block away. Staff was pleasant enough!

Hostel mit guter Anbindung zum Flughafen

Aufgrund der späten Anreise 22:10 war die Rezeption erst nach klingeln besetzt, der Mitarbeiter sprach kein Deutsch aber gutes Englisch. Da das Publikum in der Lobby Backpacker waren sicherlich i.O. Generell sind die Flure nicht besonders sauber, die Zimmer so grade noch Ok. Frühstück habe ich in einer Bäckerei im der Umgebung gegessen. Das Zimmer war groß und die Betten OK. Der Verkehrslärm hielt sich Nachts in Grenzen, mit dem Berufsverkehr wird es lauter. Für das Hotel sprechen Preis und die SBahn Anbindung zum Flughafen. Ein gutes Angebot auf dem Weg zum Flughafen, für längere Aufenhalte kann ich es nicht empfehlen.

Convenient hostel for Schönefeld Airport.

Set opposite an S-Bahn station with a direct, 15-minute connection to Schönefeld Airport, this is a convenient hostel for those on a budget who need a bed after a late arrival or before a very early flight. There's little of note around it, although there is a reasonably well facilitated shopping centre across the road, outlets open until 8pm. Hostel staff efficient – you'll have to surrender your passport or ten euros for the key. In-room Wi-Fi works, plus there are two communal computers by reception. 24hr entry.

정말 별로였다 지금까지 가본 호스텔중 최악 샤워시설 물은 빠지지않고 환풍기도 없어 냄새가 너무 심하게나며 방안에 냄새나는 사람 하나만 있어도 숨쉬기가 힘들정도였다 차라리 노숙하는게 나을정도 근데 냄새나는 사람이 없다면 지낼만 할것같음

The staff didn't examine whether the room was in good condition before assigning a room. The drain in the bath room was blocked. Backflow of water from the shower and toilet flooded the bathroom. Very odorous urinary smell was left after drying up. I informed the staff about the case, they didn't changed the room for me until I requested again and again. The toilet of my room was not so clean, but at least the drain is fine. Still, you could see trace of flooding on the floor, implying that the bathroom had not been well washed after previous flooding.

Worth its price

I stayed at Check In Hotel for a few nights while attending a conference in Berlin. It's right next to a stop on the S-bahn which is a huge highlight. The station itself also has a few nice shops and cafes that have great options for a quick bite. The room was fine - comfy bed and relatively clean floor - but I was unfortunate enough to have had a roommate that snored ridiculously loudly, and the staff weren't able to move me to another room. The shared bathrooms could have been in better condition; the one I used had a leak coming out of the sink so the bathroom floor was left perpetually wet. That said, the staff were helpful and efficient especially with checking in and out, as well as making the booking prior to my stay. Would recommend as a cheap option for short trips or travelers on a tight budget. You get what you pay for.

Die Zimmergrösse und dann 3 Doppelstockbetten, 6 kleine Spinte , Tisch 2Hocker und die Größe der Dusche mit WC waren einfach nicht gut !!! Belegt war es mit mir von 5 Personen Männlein und Weiblein . Klar ist auch der Preis zu berücksichtigen , aber ... Für ein Klassenfahrt sehr gut für allein Reisenden - Erwachsenen - ehr nicht !

A pleasant surprise in Schoenweide. .

Stayed 2 separate nights at the beginning and end of a short break. Was a little sceptical but In view of the budget price, shared rooms were acceptable and Check In was excellent value. It was a combination of hostel and hotel (but without catering), The service at reception was worthy of a 4* hotel. The bunk beds were comfortable and en suite shower room/WC clean. Convenient shopping centre across the road (by the also convenient S bahn). I bought a salad, wine etc from the supermarket there and ate at a table in the ground floor area back at Check In. Would stay again. The S bahn station is due for a refurbishment in 2018 which will improve the area further. There is no parking so finding a roadside space can take a while.
