Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Also the pool and hot tub are both out of order at the time which was disappointing bc it was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. They do have a jacuzzi room, which was what we booked thankfully and that was nice and worked properly.

It was a great room. Very clean. The carpet in the hallway had a crack in it where two different kinds of carpet met. It stated there was a pool and hot tub on Expedia i did not see where they were not working. I was a little disappointed.

The room seemed clean but had a smell nome of us enjoyed. The tile was missing from the counter top in the bathroom. And the pool and spa were down for maintenance. They did let us drive next door to the quality inn and swim but the hot tub was dirty and had grime on the walls and i saw green, what i assume was fungi, in the bubbles of the hot tub. The breakfast was not very good i know its free but conpared to other free breakfasts there was less options and the quality just wasnt as good. They did allow a free late check out time at 1 pm which was convenient but i wouldnt recommend.

I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed 3 nights. Beds were comfy and three staff was very friendly and helpful. I couldn't believe the amount of options they had for the breakfast included! Definitely coming back!

This property was no frills, great location to the town of new Buffalo and Four Winds Casino. It was slightly outdated. In fact, it was pretty outdated, but it was clean, the rooms were large, the staff was super nice and it did the trick.! I would stay there again!

Not Worth It

There was dust on the lamps, spoiled milk in the fridge for breakfast, the soda machines did not work and housekeeping barged in when we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I also had to clean a big wad of black hair off of the side of the shower wall. The pool looked nice.

The exterior door near our room was unlocked meaning anyone could enter the hotel anytime day or night. The front desk did not have staff at reception-you had to call to request help or have someone come to the front desk. Our room had all the basics covered. The decor could a use a refresh, but it was clean which matters more imo. The property says it accepts dogs for $25 a night which is why we decided to stay there. There was no place on the reservation to state you would be traveling with a pet or the hotel's rule that you can’t leave your dog alone in the room. We let the property know we needed a pet friendly room when we preregistered, but the hotel said they didn’t receive the info. When we arrived, We were informed that if we left the pet in the room and people complained they would call the pound and have the dog removed. I get the feeling they have had issues in the past with guests and their dogs and have had to be heavy handed in response. We stayed a month at a Baymont in Florida this summer and the property and staff were so accommodating toward our pet it was just very surprising how this property reacted. If you are bringing a pet, I would call in advance. The low rating is predominantly because the lack of staff presence and unlocked and insecure entries.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. A close drive to Warren dunes, I’d say this is an okay hotel for that if you aren’t planning on staying very long. The breakfast was not good, somehow the scrambled eggs were bad(to salty and a weird texture), the only good thing there was the self serve waffles. We didn’t get to try the pool or anything, but it looked pretty okay. We noticed the bed sheets were stained a bit, that was pretty gross actually.

Manager and older gentleman who helped with cleaning and breakfast room were very nice and helpful. Some of the ladies at the front desk were short and even rude. Had issues with some of our families room keys which were replaced but we had to go get them and they were not apologetic about the situation. The room was clean and the cleaning lady was kind and good. Hotel could use updating. Overall we had a ok visit there but would probably try another hotel when we return there.
