This Is Our Go To Place In Benson

We enjoy staying at the Benson Motel because it’s clean and the staff is very responsive to our needs. The only negative is, if you are looking for breakfast, you have to go into town to seek the local options.

I was looking for a place to stay 1 night after hiking the beautiful State Parks in this area, and Expedia suggested this motel. It was perfect for my needs. The price is right, the room ample and clean, nice king size bed, water pressure in the shower amazing. I'll continue to explore this area after a good-night sleep.

No communication for door being left open

The room was very nice and the location was wonderful. Communication with the property is awful, however. We had lots of trouble checking in and after we got our keys, we found our room door open. The room was rather dirty but it's impossible to tell how much of it was actually the room being dirty, and how much of it was the door being open for anything and everything to get into the room. Despite reaching out several times to the staff via the check-in desk, phone, and even their text option, no one ever reached out to us. It was a gorgeous area and easy to get to and find, but I would never stay there again.

Great overnight stay!

Super comfortable bed and pillows. We slept well after the trains stopped whistling. Very spacious room for the two of us. Love the idea of how to check in to get the room key. Owners/managers very attentive to questions in texts. Thank you!

The rooms are clean. When we ran out of facial tissue, the staff was very responsive to replace our box. I put a 4 star on eco-friendly as I didn’t see anything that promoted recycling.

I recently stayed at this quaint and cute motel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The check-in process was different from the usual, as they have implemented automated services, but it was smooth and hassle-free. It's clear that the motel has undergone significant updates, and they are transforming it into a place people will really enjoy. After a dinner in town, we returned to the motel and spent some time relaxing outside in their comfortable Adirondack chairs, taking in the beautiful view. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and modernized retreat.

King size bed with large windows to let in natural light. Check in was automated and very easy. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30am to see if we had left (they didn't announce themselves, but later learned it was staff and not a misdirected customer). Housekeeping knocked again at 9:30am and opened the door as they announced themselves before I could reach it while partially dressed. Check out was supposed to be at 11am, but felt like we should have been out of the room before 7am.

Pleasant stay!

This motel exceeded my expectations for the price. It’s very clean and quiet. Great water pressure and the bed was super comfortable. Check-in is a little different as there is no front desk worker. You will get a text before your arrival with a code that you enter at a kiosk in the lobby and your key pops out. It is simple. It’s also worth noting that they do not do early check-ins before 3pm. My biggest complaint is that the WiFi connection is slow and there’s only a Roku tv; no antenna/live channels. This made watching tv in the evening hard because every few minutes it would lose connection. My coworker in another room had the same issue. The room was also quite dark even with all the lights on. Overall I had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Self check in no staff, check in went fine but our room had a horrible nasty smell could have been from the filthy carpet and or mold and mildew, the beds are hard if you like a harder bed you are all set.
