The location afforded spectacular views and the property itself is located in a lovely area. Hosts were responsive, thoughtful, and delightful; made to order breakfasts were delicious. A comfortable, peaceful place to stay, with even a nice little pool for swimmers.

Great stay — super clean, friendly staff, and only about 8 minutes (at worst!) out of Manchester itself. Rooms have a bit of an 80's vibe but are very clean; beds are comfy; shower is good. Lots of light as the room opens up onto the larger property. Would definitely stay again!

We found the North Shire Lodge convenient to the town and surrounding attractions. The view of the mountains from our back deck was amazing. Cleanliness of the room was top notch. The owners were friendly and attentive to any needs. We had the option of a "grab and go" or a hot breakfast served in the dining area, which by the way was excellent!

North Shire Lodge was perfect for a ski weekend in VT. The room was clean and comfy with a great view of the mountains. The hosts were fantastic! Very kind and welcoming. Also the include breakfast was a great perk! Not many places do a hot breakfast cooked just for you included. Made our stay in VT extra special. We will definitely be back!

The room was charming and comfortable. It also had a good size fridge with a freezer, and a microwave. Plenty of towels meant we didn’t require daily maid service. And really loved the option for a hot breakfast for just $5/pp. There were 2 great choices each morning and these changed daily. Stacey and Brad, the owners, were so nice and very helpful. We absolutely will return the next time we’re in the Manchester area.

After scrambling to find a place to stay for the night after the weather kept us longer than planned, I’m so glad we came across this place! You will not find better or kinder service, and the view is unbeatable and all for a very reasonable price! Breakfast was also excellent, and Otis is adorable! We will definitely be coming back here.
