Hotel was ok, we did not read the small print and had been moved to the sister hotel, but you could walk through to the other pool, that's what we booked for and did not get a balcony. Great Pool!!!! But, the noise, not from outside but in the corridors and rooms either side. It sounded like people where in the room at points. The door has a gap at the bottom, so sound just came in. The doors are secure no risk there. Easy access to the main strip and beach.

I would recommend this hotel, good food on all inclusive nice pool and snack bar and pools are really nice. Only downside was some of the staff are not very friendly and quite rude at times - but still had a lovely time away here

The hotel is decent and well located 5m from the beach and even less to the main strip although if I visit this area again I would probably aim for the south side / Old Town area personally. I was really annoyed the swim-up bar was closed during my stay.

Bitterly disappointed 1) the website does not actually represent where you could be potentially staying, some rooms so so basic with camp style beds. The pictures online definitely do not represent this 2) the room smelled of drainage 3) I spent €10 on cleaners and bleach to hide/mask the smell 4) the hotel has 200 irons for 1000 rooms .. everyday we asked twice a day for an iron and could not be provided with one 5) hotel staff where at times incredibly rude! The bar staff around the smaller pool short changed regularly, noted by many families during our stay 6) if you can’t get a late check out (which is under standable at peak times) you must book a shower time slot! We weren’t aware (which may have been in the small print but was not explained). Therefore, unless we showered at 3:00pm for a 7:00pm leave there was not an opportunity to shower prior to leaving 7) to be balanced, the cleaning staff were lovely, the kitchen staff and restaurant staff work in credibly hard. 8) the pool areas are lovely however be prepared to queue upon opening and within 20 mins expect no availability. We were only there for 3 nights and thankfully had a great time in Benidorm itself, however unless you are in the newer building with advertised rooms it’s not what it says online.

Small single room, more than adequate for short stay in Benidorm. Lifts slow & some of the time inoperative. Great access to the night life, beach. Hotel pools lovely, breakfast good standard. Ten mins & 10 euros to old town in a cab, worth a visit.

First time to Benidorm, and first visit at the Sol Pelicanos. A couple of negatives, check in was very slow but I think they had issues with the computers, so you maybe best if you can check in online before you get there. Also the sound proofing was very poor between rooms, first morning we could hear nextdoor being violently sick for around 20 minutes! Positives, very clean and the breakfast choice was excellent and good quality.

Highly recommend

We had an amazing stay. Staff were exceptional. Especially Ana who went the extra mile to welcome us and to make our daughter’s birthday special. Rowl also was fantastic with Rose spending time helping to keep her entertained. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much.
