Terrible hotel!!!

The hotel was of very poor quality, in desperate need of modernisation! No air conditioning in the building and no fans were offeredas the weather was exceptionally hot!! Room was very basic - door latch was broken, bottom of the bathroom door was rotten, no room cleaning service or fresh towels for duration of the stay, and we had to empty our bins to get our deposit back at the end of our stay!! No staff available at night. Pool water looked so dirty, I did not dare to go in! Very dissapointing stay - I would never return!

Das Luxmar ist in die Jahre gekommen und schlecht gewartet. Die Türen schleifen und lassen sich nur per Schlüssel verschließen, es gibt Wolldecken die löchrig sind, Armaturen dies wackelig sind, usw. Alles in allem ist es sauber, die Organisation sehr gut und problemlos. Alles von Transfer, über Kautionsrückzahlung, Check in/out hat tadellos geklappt. Wer unschlagbar billig sich nur die Nacht vom günstigen Bier erholen will, ist hier richtig. Wer Luxus und Komfort sucht oder mit seiner Familie unterwegs ist, sollte weiter suchen, denn Deine Frau wird Dich sonst einen Kopf kürzer machen. Der Fahrstuhl kostet Dich jedes Mal ein Leben, falls Du die Fahrt überlebst, als überlege gut wie oft Du ihn benutzt.

I wasn't expecting the Hilton for the price I paid and knowing that this is a good location and the apartments very popular with stags and hens, I got what I was expecting. So no complaints from me. I certainly wouldn't recommend here for a family or romantic break, but for a drinking break with the lads, it's perfect.

Basic accommodation

Basic hotel, clean and with great views of the city. Quiet area too. Rooms are quite outdated, walls need painting, taps/heaters rusty and staff friendly on a very basic level.

Iron/ironing board - No Sleep well - Turndown service - Ha Ha Ha Sofa bed - wouldn't let a dog sleep on it Egyptian-cotton sheets - Hankerchief more like...... The staff were great - Also blessing that there was no stag and hen parties there. However the 2 sofa beds were filthy, we would not sit on them . Towels dirty - the whole place needed fumigating. I knew when I paid not to expect 5 star due to the price - but I did expect clean towels and crockery, a bath that I could use and somewhere I would not electrocute myself. We were out a lot of the time bt I am soooooo glad that I only had to sleep here - couldn't wait to leave. Take it off Hotels.com booking site - no one should pay or redeem to stay here

Cheap n cheerful not the best but clean enough and the staff were great gave us a fan for our room booked our transfers as ryanair had taken our money but not booked us on. Place could do with an upgrade but lots of big parties so prob why they don't group of welsh guys throwing chairs from balconies so that doesn't help

I stayed for 4 nights and didnt spend any real quality time here' because hotel is in need of a real revamp, counted about 10 sun loungers around the pool area, stayed on 8th floor an never seen a cleaner once, thete was a chip container box on staircase for 3days! Towels never changed and beds contained bugs" i removed a handful just on mine alone" anyhow its cheap and in a decent location just make sure u shake all your belongings wen your packing to leave:

Good for what you pay.

Very dated property, but considering the cost of the room be cautious. Our main concern was the balcony locks were broken & the apartment was insecure despite this we had to pay for a safe deposit box, I think this should have been free because of the insecurities.

Good Priced apartments

Our stay at Luxmar apartments was fine. Apartments are a little worse for wear but for the price were good value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Expect some noise, this is an apartment block used by stag and hen parties but then I think most are. Overall very happy with what we got for what we paid.
