5th floor restaurant was very good. Bed was comfortable and generally the room was comfortable. The only odd thing was that our bathroom had a window into the bedroom. There was a curtain but quite odd design. We used their excellent taxi service to and from the airport. Very helpful.

well managed hotel in a great central location. huge variety of shops, restaurants and pubs all in immediate walking distance. super clean rooms (thanks to mr. amrit rana) with very comfortable bed and bedding. generally friendly and helpful staff and good service. only severe drawback is the factually useless wifi (barely strong enough to load webpages, let along conduct a zoom meetings, etc.) breakfast buffet good, served on the comfortable lofty rooftop terrace.

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs, Unworthy of 4 Stars

If you’re considering this hotel, think again. My colleagues and I booked 3 rooms for 9 days on a business trip, prioritizing cleanliness, comfort, and relaxation. The experience was nothing short of unacceptable. From day one, it was clear the hotel was not as advertised: Smoking rooms: Our rooms reeked of smoke, and the issue persisted throughout the stay. Pool access: To enter, you crawl through a hole in a bird net. It closes at 18:00—no exceptions. Restaurant: Closed. No atmosphere, music, or staff. Alcohol? Not licensed, and bringing your own drinks is forbidden. Broken facilities: The AC failed, the hairdryer never worked, and for two days, we showered with buckets due to no hot water. Noise: Windows were broken and poorly “fixed,” letting in constant street noise. Doors are paper-thin—forget sleeping peacefully. The hotel is old, filthy, and neglected. Facilities are falling apart, and breakfast is low quality. Management refused to address our concerns. On Day 1, we requested to change hotels or receive a refund. The hotel flatly refused, and hotels.com was no help, sending automated responses like “We’re working on it.” At the end, we were told, “Sorry, the hotel won’t let you go.” Positives? The staff—receptionists and cleaners—were friendly and did what they could with the little they had. Bottom line: This is not a 4-star hotel. Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere. It’s not worth your money or time.
