After the pilgrimage of Maha Kumbha Mela in north India, this hotel was an amazing place to rest and visit friends nearby. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional at all times. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

We really liked the location of this hotel - we stayed for 2 nights before flying internationally. With a pool & location next to the shopping centre, we found there was more to do than some of the hotels closer to the airport. The drive & transport cost were fine. Hotel was very clean, staff very accomodating and we highly recommend including breakfast in your stay, it was very good with Indian breakfast options & plenty for international travellers also.

The twin beds are so inconvenient for the family after paying such high price for the room. We ordered an extra Mattress paying extra money. When the guy came with mattress and opened it , a cockroach popped out. We felt so disgusted, it ruined the whole experience for us. I would never stay with them again as my trust is broken. Apart from a promise to refund my money for extra mattress, the manager did nothing to make me feel that I should come back. Other working Staff is polite and courteous.

Surprisingly nice hotel in the city

Stayed 1 night for my first time in many visits to Bangalore. The hotel is located in the city connected to a small mall with several fast food outlets. Check-in was at 10 pm and lobby was ordinary. My room was on executive club floor. The floor which I stayed was very far from the elevator which the reception had pointed out during check-in. This was due to the design of the floor being very long. In the middle of my floor there was a cozy library for quiet relaxation which I made good use in the afternoon the next day. I do not know where the club lounge is. Each floor I was told has its own smoking area which is a balcony in the hall way. Room was very spacious with high balcony. Bed was slighty elevated and very comfortable. No bath tub, but bathroom was spacious with nice amenities. I asked for a soap bar to housekeeping as I do not like liquid soap. Did not have a chance to see much of the property or experience breakfast, but it was quiet for a pleasant good night sleep.

During a recent stay at the Grand Mercure Bengaluru, I found the hotel itself to be quite satisfactory. The accommodations were modern, clean, and comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The housekeeping staff deserve commendation for maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness. The service throughout the hotel was commendable. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, readily addressing any requests. Room service was prompt and the food was enjoyable. The lunch buffet at the restaurant was a highlight, offering a satisfying variety of dishes. While the hotel is attached to Gopalan Mall, I found the mall itself to be rather underwhelming. The selection of shops was limited and the overall size was smaller than expected. This wasn't a major issue, but it's worth noting for those who might be expecting a larger shopping experience. However, a significant error on my final invoice detracted from the overall experience. An extra zero had been mistakenly added to the total, resulting in a grossly inflated amount. While the issue was rectified, it caused unnecessary inconvenience and raised concerns about the hotel's billing procedures. Despite this unfortunate incident and the somewhat disappointing mall, I would still recommend the Grand Mercure Bengaluru for the quality of the hotel itself.
