Great getaway location

This property was new, very clean and comfortable with everything you need! Also loved the firepit and hot tub! Loved that we were able to walk to all the local shops and restaurants too!

I’m so impressed with this property. The room is beautiful, clean and the kitchen has everything you need . The grounds are beautiful as we arrived several deers greeted us. It’s a 7 minute walk to downtown.

We came up to stay and visit torch lake. We were so pleased with our stay here! The room was beautiful & the amenities were amazing. You can walk to town and shorts brewing company. You will not regret booking here!!

Wonderful. Peaceful, rural setting and rooms are new and in great condition. Full kitchen and kitchenware. Trail nearby for running/dog walks. 5 min walk to town (including Short’s Brewing!). Glacial Hills Trails and Lake Bellaire are nearby for hiking and water sports enthusiasts.

Our stay here was very nice, the place was very clean and tidy. Had a perfect modern touch to it and the amenities were great. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and the choice to use the sauna, kayaks, and bicycles. The putting course near the entrance was a cute touch. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it if looking to stay in this area of Michigan. It was also only about a 10 minute drive from Torch Lake which was our reason for the visit!

Beautiful & very clean suite! They thought of everything we might need right down to umbrellas in case it rained! The community where it’s located had some of the nicest people you could meet & some nice little shops. We would definitely stay there again!

Stayed here for one night for a quick getaway with my husband. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The rooftop deck was wonderful to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Would love to come back for a longer stay and enjoy the other amenities. Close enough to walk downtown for shopping, food, or a great great craft beer at Short's. We were in town before check-in and they texted to let us know our room was ready 2 hours early. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend.

We loved it. It's a charming spot and the fact that there is nothing behind the property but woods and the lake is wonderful. Watching the deer as we soaked in the hot tub was a real treat.

Breathtaking Spillway getaway!

Absolutely wonderful, we couldn’t be happier. The decor is stunning & the check-in process was super easy. All the amenities were fantastic, along with the recommendations for dinner in town. We were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary & upon arriving we were welcomed with flowers, swan towels on the bed, some candy, celebration napkins & delicious cupcakes from Ruthann’s Bakery in town. Wow, we are blown away, the hospitality just went above & beyond! We can’t wait to return 💕

Great location. Beautiful. Easy walk to brewpub, steakhouse, cider house, distillery, and cafe. Lots of great golf courses with a 10 minute drive. Highly reccomend for a long weekend.

This property is very clean. The shower head was amazing. The property has a lot of amenities, we enjoyed the fire pit, the deck, and the putting green. We loved the location, within walking distance to downtown Bellaire. We will definitely return to the Spillway Lodges!

Spillway

We are both 70+ and had the stairs to climb. It was the only disappointment. We knew that was the case however next time we have to be downstairs. Loved the location and amenities.

We have a dually truck that would probably not fit through the gate, so good thing we left it home. Also phone chargers on the night stands would be nice. Other than that I think our stay was great, although it would have been nice to have been accommodated the early check in at 2:pm as discussed. We came up for an event and had to wait until 4:pm to check in.

I can only say great things about this property not only was it perfectly decorated everything to the smallest detail was thought out incredibly thoughtful and answers to every question you could possibly have from the host quick responses. The amenities were perfect a full kitchen with everything you could need the bathroom was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The view was wonderful. We had nothing but privacy the entire time we were there. There was a rooftop deck with an electric fire pit as well as a table if we wanted to eat up there with ambient lights a great view of the spillway we could hear music from downtown. You could walk to downtown in seven minutes to shop or eat. There were plenty of areas to get food to go if you didn’t want to go out there were hot tubs, mini golf. A sauna outside walking trails, cornhole games amazing fire pits throughout the property. Everything about this place is incredible and I can’t wait to stay again.
