Great stay at Mark Hotel Belgrade

Had a great stay at Mark hotel 5 of us stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in a great position to see the city. It’s very clean with a good bar area. The food and drink prices are very reasonable. There are 5 bars/restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff from the cleaners to the reception staff were very friendly and helpful I would recommend a stay at the Mark Hotel

Very comfortable bed! Transfer from the airport worked really well, congratulations to the driver. Good and easy check in. Breakfast was OK, could be a bit more diverse. Overall great experience.

Mark Hotel

Stayed four nights at the Mark hotel in Belgrade. Our room was on the eighth floor and was very comfortable, the window opened and as it was facing to the street it was a bit noisy even on a high floor. The staff are really nice and helpful, we had forgotten our adapter and they tried everything to help, eventually finding us a local shop that stocked them. Breakfast is varied and there is a good selection of hot and cold food. I would definitely stay here again.

Very helpful staff (could pick up forgotten items at reception after checkout, helpful parking). Room felt like one whole class above what the pricing suggested, also fairly new and well cleaned. Thank you for wifi that made online work actually possible.

Hotel was clean, my room spacious with pleasant colours and quiet as it was facing back. There was an issue with running water in the toilet, constant flow that needs to be fixed. Also, shower head on the ceiling needs to be put back at its place. Coffee is considered as a part of mini bar- first time in my life I had to pay for this and I do travel a lot. Staff was very kind and helpful, i liked their professional attitude. Hotel is at great location, city centre. I liked staying there and I hope to visit again.

Location is perfect. But flushing the toilet was a problem and on the tap at the sink when you turned to the blue spot it gave hot water and when you turned to the red spot it gave cold water. The staff was not really welcoming or friendly. If I would go to Belgrade again I would find another hotel.

End of October, the AC is already off, despite the weather rather warm and muggy. Have been advised by the stuff to keep the windows open. The hotel is on a busy street with tram tracks. The trams are very loud, and pass from early morning to past midnight. Could barely sleep

They said they couldn’t give me a room when I arrived at the hotel, coz of “maintenance “ issue. I booked the hotel in April, confirmed the reservation in August and confirmed parking on sep 15. Unbelievable!!!!

Positives: Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Large room. Hot shower. Good choice for breakfast. Very clean Negatives:. Smell of drains in bathroom (drain cover had been covered with cling film but this had ripped slightly): Hot food at breakfast was barely lukewarm as the containers were not hot and the lids were left open. I appreciate that this is often the fault of guests but the breakfast staff made no attempt to close lids. Perhaps a sign would be useful. There was quite a bit of noise from the service pipes in the corner of the room. Overall: I was pleased with the property and would consider staying here again.

This hotel looks like it employed shoddy workers and the finishing was substandard. The first room we had had a constant running cistern and plug sockets hanging out of the wall. After immediately complaining we were moved. This room had bathroom fixtures (towel rail and hooks) which were stuck on the wall (not screwed in) so of course they fell at the slightest touch. The flush casing also fell off. And the smell from the drains was strong and unpleasant. Many lights didn't work and a requested kettle also didn't work. After complaining again, the electrics and kettle were fixed and the towel rail and flush casing were glued back on.
