A shallow stream running through a swamp (background) is what's left of a paleo river at the Sungai Batu excavation site. Carbon dating on iron ingots and other findings at the site indicate a port civilisation, with a thriving iron smelting industry that predates Angkor Wat, Cambodia and Borobudur, Java. Plenty of room, lovely bed and excellent rainforest showef.The views to the South are good and the pool on 14 is amazing. Thetes also a roof terrace on 25 open in the evenings.
