"There are no activities for kids. The restaurant wa5d a total disappointment. Service.was ok and the food was average at best. They burned my chicken. Don't waste your time eating at the restaurant. "
"We stayed here when passing thru Virginia to head to South Carolina - This is an older hotel but very clean and good sized room and bed was comfortable, air conditioning set just right. We especially liked the continental breakfast spread set up by Pat and conversation with other friendly staff. Pat has been working here for 30 years and said new owners planning renovations. Parking was convenient next to the hotel with east side door entry. We did not get a chance to explore downtown, but hotel is located across from the performing arts theater - art deco and historic buildings nearby with various shops and some restaurants that we saw as we drove past. Affordable stay and we do recommend. "
"We were pleasantly surprised. We usually don’t stay at motels but let me tell you, we would stay here again. The room was completely clean comfortable and staff amazingly accommodating. We missed breakfast and the owner offered to make accommodations for us the next time. Lots of personal touches too. Very nice."
