Ida’s is a perfect place to stop on the way to or from Alaska. The spacious room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food is good. Ida and her staff are friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay again.

I liked there was a place to stay at beaver creek Yukon. Staff was from India and not exactly welcoming. Room had no heat called and said didn’t want to turn on boiler for only a couple rooms rented so they brought a small electric heater that didn’t work in any of the room outlets, I brought it back and older boss gal barked at me said they started boiler and heater did work in office outlets but not in my room and I was to tiered to engage with her further

Good location just off the highway. Very basic room. Restaurant next door with good food and service. Parking in front of room. Gas station in front of business. We found almost all of the rooms in Canada were very over priced for very basic rooms.

Staff friendly. Rooms were fine. I couldn't turn the bathroom light off, so it was very bright, and I had to close the door, but that didn't help, as it shone through under the door—a place to lie down after a very long, bumpy drive.

Location, location. Ida’s was perfectly located on my motorcycle route from Haines to Denali in August. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Note: no coffee machine whatsoever. I made hot water in the microwave and had good instant coffee with me, so it wasn’t insurmountable. I will stay there again if I repeat the trip! Also, pulling a chair outside at twilight was more than delightful- the grizzled peeps who park their huge highway construction trucks outside live in at Ida’s during their work week; and they sit outside their rooms with a cup in their hand while dinner cooks (moose burgers from home) are easily stirred into wonderful conversation that result in pics of 40” lake trout last winter when ice fishing.. or a buffalo hunt on snow machines. I’m underselling what I heard and saw! (so much construction this time of the year! “Paved roads” are no more than an ideal here.) Ida’s was fun. I slept well.

No heat and terrible food. No insulation in the walls so sound and voices carried. It's time to sell to someone who has ambitions. Also, very expensive for what's included. Not even a cup of coffee before 8am.
