「We enjoyed a wonderful short stay in Yorkshire and were made to feel so welcome in this lovely cottage, Sue really went above and beyond to make our visit special. Next time we’ll be sure to make use of the fabulous courtyard if the weather permits!」

「Arrived 11.30pm ,was greeted by the night manager very professional and courteous,no problem checking in ,the room was great large and spacious,the facilities are great in the room ,in the morning I experienced the best shower I have ever had in a hotel ,the water was perfect . I look forward to staying at the Bolholt again in the future .」

「Friendly staff all round especially the Receptionist.who checked us in (sorry-- I have forgotten her name) Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Dinner was excellent although menu was a little restricted. A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!」

「When I arrived a warm welcome was received by the receptionist. The room was ok, Basic breakfast in the morning but was enough before heading on the road.」

「 This hotel is certainly outdated and in need of a refurbishment. That said the room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lunch which was good with a selection for vegetarian and lovely puddings. This is an ideal place for walkers or cyclists who maybe on a limited budget but want privacy and a lovely warm bath at the end of a day on the Pennines. 」

「Very tatty, filthy and stained carpets in public areas. Dismal, flickering lights in corridors. Badly repaired hole in bathroom door. Holes in dressing table surfaces. No aircon so had to leave window open, which is just above the very noisy aircon machinery for the Shell garage next door.」
