Wonderful BNB

This is an extremely lovely bed and breakfast. We had the room with the courtyard view. It was a suite size! Unusual for Europe. The hostess is so friendly and helpful. She also make delicious chocolate cake. The location in the city is perfect! Walkable to everything including the train station.

Very friendly hostess. Great location.

This is an old school B and B; 4 guest rooms set in a 16th century building that had been a smithery. The hostess Valerie couldn't have been nicer, little customized breakfast when you want. Plus the location is amazing...almost all of the bars and restaurants in Bayeux are located along Rue St Jean, and this place is right at the east end of it. Also, if you're going on a Normandy tour, the tours tend to leave from the Place de Quebec just a couple hundred meters away.

3 days in Bayeux!

Our hostess was very attentive. The rooms are at the rear of a private entrance so it's very quiet. The location is at the heart of the restaurant district I counted 8 sidewalk cafes within a few blocks. It is slso in the heart of the historic town. Within easy walking distance of Everything! Also within 3 blocks of the meeting point of Dozens of tours. We really enjoyed this spot and our accommodations.

Great location near old Bayeux, with lots of restaurants and cafes and shops just outside. Rooms around a lovely courtyard. Breakfast was great! One morning crepes, one morning homemade cake. The homemade yogurt was wonderful. Great way to start your stay in Bayeux.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect—a great spot to see the D-Day beaches and take trips to Mount Saint Michel, Saint-Malo, and Falaise. Our room was lovely, breakfast was excellent, and we felt welcome and very comfortable. It was a very charming place, exactly what we needed. Wewould very much recommend it.

Ce Logis ressemble à un "gîte" de standing en plein centre ville. La propriétaire habite sur place dans la bâtiment principal. Elle aime que ses clients puissent s'échanger autour de la table lors du petit déjeuner, avec ou sans sa présence (vous n'êtes pas obligés de répondre à toutes les questions sur votre vie ou alors pas dans la version originale). Service généreux, viennoiserie, jus frais et même pâtisserie maison. La salle à manger et aussi le salon commun avec café et thé en libre service (ne pas oubliez de sourire à la caméra). Les chambres (peu éclairées) sont meublées sobrement avec goût. Il y a tout l'équipement mais sans plus (format d'un gîte amélioré). Une clé vous est confiée pour entrer et sortir selon votre guise. Beaucoup de choix pour les bars ou restaurants dans la rue ou dans le quartier. Une voiture est conseillée pour visiter les sites et les musées consacrés au débarquement (ne pas oublier musée de la tapisserie avant sa fermeture pour travaux fin été 2025).

The hostess of this establishment did everything to make sure we were comfortable, including lending me weather appropriate clothing. The location was so good. I loved this little place so much.

This place is right on the main street in Bayeux. You can walk to the museums and the tapestry easily. Parking is free on side streets, just a bit tight, particularly now in this busy tourist season.

We loved staying here. The historic building is charming and comfortable. Valérie had a lovely French breakfast for us each day. She gave us several excellent suggestions during our 4 night stay. It was an easy walk from the train station. We would stay here again.

Great location! Valerie was very helpful and very knowledgeable of the area! I stayed here in October 2023 during my visit to the Normandy beaches - very convenient. Also, a perfect spot within the beautiful city of Bayeux!

Cute and well maintained B&B. Valerie the owner was delightful. Breakfast was great and included homemade jams, yogurt, crepes, baguette, fresh juices and more. A few mosquito bites due to open window for cooling during sleep.

Great to stay and The proprietors of the hotel were very generous and kind making sure I had everything I needed but please note, the Internet is not very strong in the city itself and I had trouble accessing Wi-Fi in general

The room smelled so badly of sewage that I had to go buy a can of air freshener. The entire place was filthy and full of bugs as there were no screens on the windows. There was no housekeeping service. the towels weren’t changed for days until I asked for dry ones. The decor and was nonexistent and consisted of random pieces of furniture and treacherous straw area rugs. Those rugs that weren’t straw were made of woven plastic. The “closet” consisted of two hooks on the wall and the “dresser” was two unfinished planks hanging crookedly from rope on the wall. The shower flooded the bathroom floor ever time it was used. And oh my the entrance way…if it could even be considered that

We had a comfortable stay at this convenient location close to everything including the meeting point for guided excursions. Our host Valerie was the best: she is friendly, helpful, responsive, and a great chef/cook. Her breakfasts were just the thing to start the day in Bayeux. Great stay in great location

Valerie is a charming host and her home made breakfasrs a real authentic treat. Waking up to the smells from the bakery door is a real pleasure. Great location doors from the restricted parking zones. Comfortable rooms off a quiet back cortyard. No hesitation to recommend!

Terrific B&B in the heart of Bayeux

This is a charming bed and breakfast located in the heart of Bayeux. The host Valerie is a lovely woman who takes great care of her guests and makes terrific fresh breakfasts. It is very quiet which makes for great sleeping. All the sites in town are within walking distance and there are plenty of great places to eat. This is a good location if you plan to visit D-Day sites or to just enjoy the countryside. I highly recommend staying here!
