The building was boarded up when we arrived. No notification that our hotel would close. We were told from another hotel that we found last minute that they had closed two days before our arrival.

The hotel was boarded up when we arrived. We went to another hotel across the street that told us that they closed two days before our arrival and didn’t bother to tell anyone. Will never book with Red Roof Inn.

Nope!

This hotel is very run down and in bad need of total renovation. Room was third worldish. Worn out furnishings, holes in walls, mold. Parking areas don’t feel at all safe. The price was good but in this case you really do get what you pay for.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. We only had two complaints during our stay. There was a lot of noise because of the location right next to the highway. It is also quite difficult to find because it is tucked away into another parking lot where you have to drive into another hotel and then arrive.

The price was OK. No hot water , door key did not work. Had to take our showers in cold water. They told us to run the water for 15 or 20 min. Still no hot water

Will not go back to this one.

The temperature in the room never got below 74. It 75 when I arrived. I informed the front desk and he stated since it was 70 outside the temp in the room would not drop much more. He did not offer any assistance. Left the room for 4 hours and it only drops 1 degree. Someone else came to the counter and complained about the room temp in their room. It was obvious they do not cleans the rooms very well. There was a used condom wrapper behind the bed!

Eh, wouldn’t stay here again.

Only stay here if you’re tight on cash and don’t mind subpar accommodations. The bathrooms were filthy, the sleep number bed was horrible, and the security back door was not functioning. On the positive, the young lady who checked me in was pleasant.

Hotel is in need of updating and numerous repairs. The carpets in the halls had tape strips holding it down, our toilet did not flush well (3-4 flushes to work), and the flooring in the room was not clean. I contacted Hotels.com immediately after check in and was very disappointed in the service I received.

This facility very run down. Looks like some updates were made but nothing taken care of. Floor was laminate- looked nice but very dirty- had not been mopped in some time. Dresser had door that would not close, bathroom had drawer the same, and finish had been nicked and no touch ups done. Carpet in main hall had duct tape holding some seams together. This facility could look great w/a little tlc and lots of scrubbing.

Terrible holes in the wall over complicated shower with lots of buttons ! And the service was bad and rooms dirty with holes on the chairs etc

Worst stay!!

I found lots of hair in the shower. We heard and felt the springs on the bed with every turn. The air conditioning wouldn't turn off even when we put the thermostat air on off.

Great Location

The location was great. We were in town for LSU graduation, and it was easy to get to campus. Also lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel is being renovated, and the lobby elevator was out of service. We also had to change rooms because the first room had no hot water. Otherwise, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
