The room facilities were quite outdated, but still acceptable. However, we also encountered bedbugs, which was extremely concerning. On a cold morning, the hotel served cold slices of bread and yogurt that was more than two months past its best-before date. We reported the issue but never received any response. The overall experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel.
The room smelled bad of old smoke, like this was a former smoking room converted to non smoking. Ceiling was full of Cobb webbs, the A/Unit had not been cleaned in a long time. Mold all over the bathroom Ceiling, towels badly stained and very warn. For nearly $200 on a weekend was very disappointed. I did not sleep at all due the strong odor of smoke. I have managed hotels from 2 star to 4 stars. This hotel needs help with some basic room maintenance and par stock. You should do a deep clean every 90 days, from Ceiling to floor, replace damaged items, etc. The towels were really gross, honestly just a lack in care of overall business standards.
Advertised free breakfast but none available not even coffee!! Was told I could go to gas station down the road for coffee. Stated breakfast room was being remodeled but looks like absolutely nothing was being remodeled. Rooms themselves were decent and clean, local people seemed to hang out near front doors a lot to visit with staff
Toilet bowl was dirty with a ring around it. Soap dispenser broken off the shower wall, and the coffee maker was missing a part, which the front desk gave me. This building could definitely use upgrading. Not worth the price
I believe this was my first Super 8 stay and a few things are likely to make it my last. The stay started off on an awkward note because the front desk man felt the need to comment on how I looked older than my ID photo. Thanks? Don’t see why he needed to say that to a very sleepy mom. The room was actually nicer than expected but my toddler found someone’s deodorant in a drawer so it was clear housekeeping hadn’t checked everything. In the morning I also ran into a news report that there had been some major police activity at this hotel hours before we checked in. We didn’t find any breakfast area in the morning so we hit the road as quickly as we could.
Room was not clean bathroom dirty and towels not even white they were yellow.
Blankets were pilled and pillows smelled.
No breakfast as advertised. We were told breakfast area was under construction.
Would definitely not recommend staying here
Hotel was comfortable and slept well. But the room was not cleaned as garbage from previous customer was not cleared and the towels were not changed before we checked in. We checked in a bit late around 7:00pm and still the room was not cleaned in proper way. Although the staff removed the garbage immediately when I informed them but the towels were pretty dirty and I saw that after my shower next day morning. Bit disappointed about hotel’s cleanliness.
Neighborhood was the biggest problem for us. Several people hanging out in the parking lot and also some people that appeared to be homeless hanging out near the rear of the hotel. We didnt stay, we had a family emergency and had to leave.
***WARNING READ BEFORE STAYING***
I arrived at 9pm on my check in date. There were about five cars in the parking lot, a group of people smoking and hanging out by the side entrance and a person appearing to live by the dumpster. While reading reviews, I became concerned for my safety as there are negative reviews about the people the staff let stay on site and outside the property.
While speaking to two locals, I was made aware that the local prison and State contacts nearby hotels when people in difficult family situations or parolees/probationers need a place to stay. The hotel has the option to say no or limit the amount of guests they let in. The locals let me know the following morning there were police there the night I was supposed to stay and it was on the local news.
This hotel in particular was not safe in my opinion as I had some valuables I would need to keep in my vehicle as I was traveling from out of state on my way to my final destination. I didn't feel comfortable to get out of my car to even check out the hotel room. I immediately booked about 8 miles away at a family owned Inn.
Please be aware of this before you book a room here.
Expedia said check-in was at 2pm. It is at 3pm. I had to wait for over an hour to check in. The carpet in my room wasn't vacuumed very well. The washcloth in th bathroom had dirty stains on it. There was no soap for the bathroom sink. The remote for the TV didn't work.
The staff at customer service was wonderful. She greeted us and shared information about nearby beautiful sites to visit. The room was very clean and comfortable. AC machine runs well and we were able to take breakfast food on-the-go due to our travel time.
Would NOT recommend staying here. Room was ok at best. Staff was not polite when checking in. They did not Serve breakfast as advertised. Booked online.. then got charged again at the property. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
Was a pleasent stay, staff was friendly and accommodating

Our recent stay at Super 8 wasn't terrible, but we were traveling with our dog and they allowed pets. I would not stay there again if I could help it. BTW there is a "pet fee". The man at check in made no mention of the breakfast or the location of the breakfast. We found it by accident and it was already closed for the day at 9:00 AM.

As soon as we got there the police were there and knocking on our door, stating they were looking for a missing person from our room. There were quite a few people hanging out drinking in the parking lot all day and into the evening, sketchy. It appears they may live there at the hotel. There were 6 stink bugs in our room. Bathtub didn't drain. something was wrong with the sound on the tv. And breakfast - can you really call it that. Coffee machine out of order, there were a few slices of bread in a plastic drawer and 3 or 4 toaster waffles. Poured a glass of OJ - it looked awful, dumped it out.. Beds were comfortable and appeared clean. Would not recommend this hotel

TV didn't have any volume. Room type I reserved was not available.
I was on a 2 week road trip with my dog and this was the only hotel that gave me a hard time about not booking a dog friendly room through Expedia. The rooms doesn’t say which ones are dog friendly so I got a single bed room and they told me at the front desk I needed to upgrade to a double bed room, claiming they were giving me a discount but it added up to a full price room. I ended up paying an additional $36 just to be in a dog friendly room on top of the $30 dog charge. I ended up losing money on this hotel because I used my Expedia credits to get a discount. I would not go back or recommend. The room was dark, gloomy and I couldn’t sleep all night. There was shady people jumping in and out of the windows and the parking lot in the back was completely sketchy.
