Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. Barbara and Massimo, the owners, gave us a tour of the palazzo and the neighborhood....

De kamers zijn proper en van alles voorzien (airco, ruime douche, frigo, slippers,…) Er wordt een verzorgd en best uitgebreid ontbijt aangeboden. Er is een mooi zwembad voorzien van voldoende ligbedden en parasols. Momenteel kijk je op de straat wanneer je aan het zwembad ligt. Wanneer de aanplanting wat meer volgroeid zal zijn zal dit een nog aangenamere plek zijn. Momenteel wordt er niet...

"I only rated this property a 4 because of the mattress, pillows and shower stall. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has stunning views! Breakfast was good and part of the room stay. A small complimentary bottle of wine is given to guests on day of arrival but there is no complimentary water. The beds were not comfortable. You could feel the wire coil springs when you lay down. The pillows are flat, so if you’re used to a soft pillow there are none. July is a very hot time of year and the room we stayed in was very warm (25 Celsius which is about 77 Degrees in F). There are too many mosquitoes to open windows to let cooler air in the evening. We had personal portable fans which we used to try to keep cool. We only stayed 2 nights so it was somewhat bearable. We did love the area. The hotel sits at the top of the mountain so definitely wear comfortable shoes to walk the hilly cobblestone paths"
