It's a very nice place for the price, I truly would recommend it. My only thing is that the room should have a small fridge to keep a drink or water cool and a hot water pot if you want a hot tea or coffee.

The location/view was great; ocean front and within walking distance (1.8 miles) to the cruise ship port/shopping/dining. Plenty of taxis if you don't want to walk. The property hasn't been maintained. Since COVID some amenities not available (beach access, beach restaurant & bar). The staff was SO nice and helpful. For the $$, it was perfect.

I like the view and the dolphins. I dislike the lack of supplies such as a broom & dust pan, no paper towel , no hand soap, I had to beg for towels . The pillows on bed were horrible. There were an iron board but no iron had to ask for that . My list of dislike shouldn’t have been & these thing must be provided to your guests moving forward.

Having booked a studio (room kitchenette), my wife and I stayed there 4 nights in January 2024. And we were indeed very pleased with the large space we got : apart from the bed and full bathroom w.bathtub, we enjoyed a nice living space (sofa, table w. 2-4 chairs), a ''computer counter'' and a large closet, plus a fairly large balcony looking at the Caribbean See, as well as access to the swimming pool. And it's very affordable ! Every time my wife and I had need for something (laundry, iron, kitchenware, etc.), the staff would find a solution. Being set just on a rocky waterfront, the Bird Rock Beach Hotel is perfect for snorkelling; and the staff would lend you the gear for free ! The complex also has a bar and small restaurant, and is about 2-3 km from downtown Basseterre, and off the main road. To avoid having to hire a taxi every time, you have to walk 20-30 minutes to reach public transportation (collective buses). But that also keeps the place free of traffic noise. For the price, it's definitely one of the best values in St-Kitts !

It wasn't busy. It had easy access to a restaurant, where you could get breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach was also on the doorstep. On arrival we were offered 2 rooms, one of which was in a very poor condition. It didn't look clean and the louvre windows couldn't close. We were immediately offered another room which was definitely in a better condition. The rooms did not have a fridge or a safe. We stayed for 7 nights and the rooms were only cleaned twice. Both rooms had problems with the locks. We reported it on the very first day of our arrival and was told it would be sorted by the Monday. This wasn't done. We struggled every day with locking the rooms. This hotel has real potential if managed properly. Could of scored much higher.

It is an old hotel but they keep it clean and well maintain. We had our own chef for breakfast and dinner. We had our own private beach. Best vacation ever.

I had a lovely stay. Overlooked the Dolphin Discovery. The only let down is no options to buy light snacks with the supermarket 20 mins walk away. A little shop or vending machine with some biscuits, chocolate, crisps etc would be great to get Guests through to the morning.

There was a big roach on the counter top, the amenities were outdated, might as well sleep on the floor due to the hardness of the bed. The lobby smells like paint, sliding door cannot lock and also they rarely clean the rooms.. such a horrible experience.

There was nothing at all that i liked about the room. I did not get the room I booked/ the room that was advertised. The room was very old had a few roaches and the door was broken. Tried calling front desk around 3am which they said was 24/7 and no respond. As a travel agent i would never recommend this hotel to any of my clients
