Decent and clean rooms when we checked-in. Great fresh breakfast everyday! Very friendly and resourceful staff. Airconditioning and heating working fine. Our best choice for LOCATION exploring Amsterdam. Walking distance to Central Station, Metro subway and the must see sights. Plenty of food and shops right at our doorstep.

The hotel is very charming, but mostly it's the excellent staff who make it such a great experience. The location is fantastic, being quiet at night, at one end of the beautiful 'Canal of Seven Bridges', just 100m from a Tram stop, and close to the Albert Cyup Market and many amazing restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety to choose from, including fresh juices, great coffees, and freshly made Dutch mini pancakes and eggs to your liking. Oh, and don't forget the daily happy hour with unlimited beer, wine, and snacks - we went every day! Be advised that the rooms are typical for Amsterdam in that they are quite 'intimately sized' (some with bathrooms separated from the room only by a frosted glass wall), and accessed by steep and narrow stairs. None-the-less, I'd highly recommend staying here.
