The cabin was small but quaint. Very cozy and romantic. Next to the river. Had a big fire pit. Extremely relaxing. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a different place.

If you're looking for a cozy little slice of heaven, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, this is the place for you!! We stayed in one of the cabins, although they are small, they offer everything you need!! Quiet setting, with firepit, which was an added bonus!! Felt like we were back at home after a long road trip. Nice little river, sounds of the water were so relaxing, while emjoying the crackle of the fire!! There is a train that came thru, but only once and it was a short rumble. The only downfall, which really isn't a big deal, was since the cabin was small, there was only room for a double bed. A queen size atleast would have been more accommodating for two adults, but it was comfy!! Would definitely stay here again!!

It’s a cabin, so of course it doesn’t have bells and whistles! It was was clean, and a comfortable bed. We were warmly greeted on arrival. And it has a nice coffee pot with real coffee! We enjoyed sitting outside and walking around

One of the things that I like is that they are pet-friendly. To me that is a plus with a dog. They have picnic tables to sit at with each cabin having a grill to barbecue outside in front. They also have other ways to cook in your room. Microwave, toaster oven etc and all the plates to boot.If you don't want to use the big firepit for everyone, they have smaller ones for each cabin. It has a river that runs by with waterfall that you can hear at night. If you like simple but nice this the place you want.

Cute cabins next to running river. Place was clean, had all the amenities we needed for our one night stay on the way to Quebec. The property had been seriously damaged by recent floods. They had clearly put a lot of effort into clearing up the property and replacing damaged structures. Brand new shower in our cabin. I’d stay there again if I were in the area.

This motel is a little gem! Very impressed with the comfort and cleanliness. Pretty location by a stream. Fire pit was going down by the stream when we arrived. Only stayed one night en route to Canada but can’t fault it. Highly recommend.

Beautiful site right on the river but has a pool. Close to amenities. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Being so close to the river, I expected mustiness but found none. Very happy

Lovely cabins
The cabins are gems. They are equipped with TVs a coffee maker, fridge and real silverware and plates for two people. It's quiet by the river and you can hear the waterfall with the cabin door open. There are wooden chairs by it to relax in or chairs on the little porches of the cabins and a pool that looks to be well cared for. The manager kept in contact with me via text and promptly answered any questions I had. Loved it 👍

Exceeded my expectations. I booked a 2 room cabin and it was so cute. Perfect for small family or a few friends. Coffee pot, coffee, fridge, microwave, dishes and silverware provided. Nice pool and creek access directly in front of the cabins. Lake Willoughby is about 20 min drive. Crystal Lake 5 minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay while exploring this beautiful area. 10/10

On top of being one of the more affordable places around, our stay in the cabins was nicer than expected. The staff was helpful when we requested something and the rooms were clean with every amenity one would need. I'll bring a fishing pole next time, the river was 50' from the cabin.

So we were excited to stay here for my daughters wedding just up the street. Love the texting to get information. Spot on. She/He was very responsive. Cabin was so cute for a two bedroom. The pool looked awesome and neighboring cabins you did not hear them. So the bad thing is my other daughter stayed in the cabin next to us. I was upset to hear that they found a tampon under the bed and you said that they did it. Trust me they did not need a free room. Kelsey is an upstanding woman with plenty of money and did not need a freebie. It crushed me to find out how she was treated because I so enjoyed our stay and was planning to continue to come back. It certainly could have been overlooked when cleaning. I’m so sad because I really did like coming there.

I only stayed one night but plan to go back. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking to spend time in Northern VT. It was very clean and staff was friendly and easy to access. Very comfortable. Grounds were great.
