"It is a quaint historical, three storey hacienda that could do with an upgrade. Very limited electrical outlets in the rooms and bedding is quite worn. Location is very good with walking distance to Zocalo, Cathedral,Templo de Santo Domingo and the three vehicle free walking streets of restaurants, shops, bars and bakeries. Be sure to save a lot of time to peruse the artisans markets (100's) around the Templo de Santo Domingo."

"We had room number eight, an upstairs suite that includes a king size bed, a lounge chair and a small table with two chairs. The room has a charming balcony that overlooks a Koi pond. The bathroom has both a shower and a copper bathtub. The main room also includes a small coffee bar area with sink, for preparing drinks and snacks. A small refrigerator is installed underneath. The complementary breakfast has a lot of variety, including omelettes, chilaquiles, fresh fruit with yogurt and granola as well as local specialties. We found all the staff to be helpful and proactive, but the real standout was a woman named Karina, who helped us out on many occasions. We had such a nice time we plan to return next year!"

"Room was very clean and the hotel is newly renovated. Only tiny observation is there wasnt a blowdryer in one of the rooms. "

"Clean, comfortable room. Location was convenient and I was able to walk safely about town. Was a bit chilly…heater in room helped somewhat. Was nice to have an extra blanket in the closet. I ate at the restaurant one time. Food and service was good. Disappointed, however, with wifi. Cell signals are weak in the area and wifi was unreliable and slow if available. I had to go to center of town to check on future travel plans and catch up on news. Forced me to disconnect a bit!!! 😌"

"The staff is excellent! The rooms are clean. The restaurant is open from early to late. The hotel has a rustic feel-experiencing the past in a very pleasant way. We will stay here again in the future."

"This is the first place that actually placed attention to details. The window can be opened without issues, room is spacious, there is heating and also air-conditioning. The furniture, doors, windows, are all made with craftsmanship. This is not usual for this price range in San Cristóbal. The area is perfect, right around the block from the andador de Guadalupe. This is the only hotel I've ever seen in san Cristóbal, with an underground spacious parking lot, and elevator. I will stay here again for sure. Water pressure in shower is good, and it doesn't smell like sewage or humidity, like so many others. "
