Had to POSTPONE, (not cancel), this stay 6 days in advance, due to the issues realted to the dementia of a parent I will be travelling with. Expedia TRIED for days & the management didn't care:
Keeping our $208.
I eventually, after days of getting nowhere, wrote to the hotel, warned them I'd make them infamous & cost them more than they would con us out of, used a few, intentionally misspelled, salty words & the management wrote a screed back, WITH A LOT OF CAPS & insulted my mental health!
“Before you swear at my team & make baseless accusations, please do your due diligence. “
A. Did not swear at them. B. I was acting on information supplied, over nearly a WEEK, from Expedia. Not baseless at all. This hotel took advantage of a situation arising from a pensioner having issues with dementia.
She then went on to type:
“DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE HOTEL MOVING FORWARD & PLEASE SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION. “
This thin skinned person also told me they cancelled the booking & that I could get a refund from Expedia.
That. Was. A. Lie.
Rude, arrogant & lying!
I wonder if Wyndham knows of this individual's “people skills”?
Expedia told me they then, twice more, tried to get a refund or credit for the dates in a month's time:
Failed.
I've read a few reviews elsewhere of a 'difficult' manager & if this is the same woman? I agree 100%.
AVOID this property.
Note to Expedia:
I appreciate you setting this right, despite Mgmnt, but I've kept a copy of this review & will post elsewhere
