Grossest hotel i have ever stayed in, i wouldnt even shower in the bathroom! Thank goodness it was only for one night. Missing trim in bathroom, paint on tub, looks like someone punched the bathroom door, etc. Tv remote had tape to keep batteries in. Smelled weird in the building. People sitting outside their room (sliders onto parkingblot) weree smoking pot and drinking. Cleaner that just stared at us when we were in lobby. Just plain weird. We told the front lobby that they should be embarrassed to rent a room in that condition. But, given the other reviews, i guess they dont care. Do not recommend!

The staff was nice. The location wasn't the best, the price was high for a hotel that doesnt have an elevator to bring your bags to the second floor. It wasnt the cleanest either. I stayed in downtown niagara falls for cheaper.

We booked this hotel from a different province without knowing everything about it. After reading horrendous reviews the day before checking in we decided it was not a safe and adequate place to stay. Expedia confirmed that the hotel would not charge us for the night as we decided not to stay … and 2 hours later, Days Inn by Wyndam Barrie attempted to charge us for the room! Based on our experience and the reviews from the people who actually ended up staying there, I don’t think Expedia should promote or offer reservations at this hotel until such time reviews are acknowledged and improvements are made by the hotel.

Overall this hotel is average. The floor on the second floor is made out of wood therefore you can here people walking in the hallway. Parts of the room seemed to have been renovated but forgot to replace the doors. Breakfast was sufficient.

The staff were all so very friendly and pleasant. The 2nd floor hallway did have an ammonia smell (dampness or cats?), however the room was clean and welcoming. The timer for the hot tub jets is limited to 5 minutes, so there was a little bit of in and out, but the pool area was clean, with plenty of fresh towels.

Go to a different hotel. We arrived and the roon smelled like smoke. We asked for a different room and they said there was none available. They delivered us a visibly very old cot and it had some white powder in the middle, which they swore was "just out of the box". The toilet would not flush. We were there for about 35 mins before leaveing and because we were over 30 mins thery woukd not cancel and refund our room as we were over 30 mins. We tried to work through expedia but they were not able to get a refund either. The property told expedia that the toilet worked, the smell was from outside, the cot was new, they tried to offer use a new room, and that wee stayed for over 1 and a half hours. All of which was untrue. The hotel would not give a refund and Expedia did nothing to help. Find a different hotel (we went to the Best Western Plus beside it) and book directly and Expedia doesnt help. Very dissappointed in the hotel and Expedia
