Clean room and helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location. Plumbing is a little noisy and takes a little getting used to when sleeping.

A solid 4 star hotel, been to better, been to WAY worse! Biggest positive for me was the diffuser for the hair dryer, super rare at hotels and nice for people with curly hair or who otherwise like using them! Excellent location, very short walk to metro stations, very close to Casa Batllo, very walkable area! We didn’t take advantage, but their summer breakfast deal for 10€ looked like a steal after seeing other hotels with breakfasts for 17-20€ per day.

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The best thing about Hotel Àmbit was the location. It is close to many walkable tourist sites. The room is ridiculously small, the cleanliness was barely adequate, the breakfast was the same each day with basics, the staff was very minimal with any communication. I had old twin beds and one window with a view of a wall through Expedia. I do not recommend this hotel, particularly for the high price.

Clean, decent sized room and large bathroom (for the area), well located, food options all around, walking distance to visiting sites, short walk to direct airport shuttle buses. Not a « luxury » hotel but very good value for the price point. I recommend it and would not hesitate to go back.

Great location, in walking distance to a lot of attractions. Loved the self service coffee machine, and the option to buy some drinks in the evening. Breakfast was amazing with an extensive range to suit everyone, including a lovely outdoor area to eat. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful with great English.

Staff were courteous - room functional but probably a bit on the small side if you were travelling with lots of luggage or staying more than one night Room was very warm/airless even though staying in December and thermostat set to 18 degrees no milk for morning tea

The hotel is small but has all modern amenities and very conveniently located, within short walking distance to Plaza Catalunya and all the attractions. The staff is extremely helpful, whether in explaining directions, suggesting best eating options, or providing an outlet converter or an extra pillow. The best part is breakfast: it’s simply amazing! We stayed only for one night after the cruise, but will definitely book this hotel for our longer trips to Barcelona.

Perfect location

Absolutely loved this hotel! I only booked a single room so it was tiny but spotlessly clean. There is a lovely dining area where they serve breakfast and coffee is available all day. There's a garden terrace for outside enjoyment. The hotel is perfectly situated near many nice cafes, a grocery, pharmacy, subway station and taxi stand. Plaza Catalunya and the gothic area are just a few blocks walk away. Hope to go back soon!
