Pros- Good location, clean room, decent size, complementary cleaning and cooking items like washingup liquid, scrubber, salt and pepper is a very good policy, but could give more tea and coffee sachets on as needed basis, because they are a bit tricky to get outside in the stores.. Cons - it would have been really helpful if the instructions of how to use the safe were put on the safe itself. The so called swimming pool is really small, can accommodate 1 or 2 people max. A comfy stay in an excellent neighbourhood

We really liked this neighbourhood of Barcelona, first of all. It was in a lovely location with a terrific atmosphere, only a 15 minute walk away from Las Ramblas. Lots of nice eateries and shops close by. As for the apartment, couldn't really ask for much more. The staff were great in getting in touch prior to arrival, and friendly when checked in. Clean and spacious room. Ample facilities. Recommend.

We love our stay in this appartement. It is close to everything! Aldi supermarket is really nice and we find everything we need. We loved the neighborhood. The ice-cream at DeLaCrem worth the wait. 15 min from La Ramblas. The apartment is quiet and nice. The little pool was appreciated by the kids. The only thing that we can complain is the moisture in the shower. Nora was really nice at the front desk! Thanks!

Disappointing Facilities. Dangerous Bed.

The room was small and in need of maintenance. There were several holes in the bed mattress with a dangerous bedspring wire poking up through the mattress. We notified the front desk and they replaced the mattress but failed to make the bed. The staff seemed nice. The location was great. The pool was tiny and unheated. The facilities and room were disappointing.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and if we had wanted to cook, we had that ability. They provided with a cleaning packet and a coffee/tea packet. You also had to pick up all the trash and remove it from room and throw it out at the bin outside the building if you wanted to avoid fees. Also, no cleaning services to the room which was okay since we only stayed three days.

Reception staff are polite and friendly. Very noisy on the street, day and night so you cannot open the window. Noise from adjacent apartments also. The swimming pool, is a joke. Its about the size of a large fish pond, dirty, and in an awful position in the shade at the back.

The place was in a very good location, lots of food and close to La Rambla. The bathroom was dirty, lots of mold but good enough to use. The only thing we didn’t appreciate was we booked 2 twin beds and a sofa bed but we ended up with 2 twin beds and an L-shaped sofa so our 2 kids had to sleep on the hard sofa mattress. We asked the front desk about it and they said it was a sofa bed. It was not a sofa bed (see photos). My parents stayed in another apartment and they had a sofa bed.

The property is just like the pictures. So many food options closeby including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is easy to get a taxi or you can ask the front desk to call one for you. However, the room was clean yet dirty. We used the pullout bed and a dirty sock flew out. It was gross. Also, they charge for extra towels. We stayed for 4 days and we were expected to use the same ones… It was 15 euros so we ended up paying bc we needed them as it rained in Barcelona.

Likes: 1. Location: near many restaurants and cafés, walking distance to La Rambla, and access to excellent transit 2. Kitchenette: it was very nice to have a kettle, sink, fridge, and microwave. There was even a washing machine but no dryer and a rule against drying clothes in the window. 3. Dining nook: a very cute little (and I do mean little) table and 4 chairs set with a view into the courtyard. Dislikes: 1. Size: the superior room was small for 4 people (2 adults, one 13-year-old and one 10-year-old in our case). The double bed and the double fold-out couch take up most of the floor space, making it difficult to move around. 2. Swimming pool: the pool was a big factor in booking for us because we were worried Barcelona might be very hot and we wanted to be able to cool down. We were disappointed when we checked in and learned that the Aramunt pool was closed… until we saw the pool. It would have been just as disappointing open, because it is the smallest pool I have ever seen; more like three bathtubs connected lengthwise. 3. Beds: too small for our family. The pull-out couch was uncomfortable for two people because it moved and squeaked with every shift. 4. Power outage: we arrived on an overnight flight and needed a nap. The room was too hot to sleep and we thought the AC was broken, but it turned there was a power outage. Once the power was back on, the AC worked great.
