Great Apartment

Excellent location in Gothic Quarter. 3 balconies for corner room. Comfy bed, Clean and yet with some original charm in the ceiling. Can be noisy at night if you are an early bird.

Excellent location! Walking distance to a lot of great spots and restaurants. A little hard to find at first but easy once you knew where to go. Very small and internet connection was a bit spotty.

Apartment was great. Stairs was murder. The areas they suggest to store your suitcase do not exist. But there are a few around. Just hard to find. They offer early check-in. But there is no such thing you cannot enter the property until exactly 3 o’clock. Otherwise very amazing place. I would recommend it to anyone that can handle stairs

Too expensive for what it was, small apartment with tiny stairs above a hair salon, location was great but window opens to small street with neighboring windows right in front of window, so no privacy. Shower water wasn’t always warm and had little pressure, WIFi didn’t work.

I like the stay overall but had an issue on the last day and the hosts were completely unresponsive mid crisis. Nobody followed up after the fact and nobody answered the “help” number during. Left a bad taste in my mouth

Unable to review the listed as we didn’t get to stay there. An email 48hours out saying a problem with the apartment and we would be given an ‘upgrade’! However this was in another part of town which required metro or long walks (which is why id chosen Barri Gotic as my intended location. So, this rather put a dampener on proceedings. The property in Eixample was perfectly adequate but not what i paid for!!!!!

The apartment I arrived at was not the one in the advertising pictures and was totally unacceptable. I tried to call the host but they did not answer their phone. I left without staying and wrote to the host requesting a refund. They refused citing their cancellation policy. I've referred this fraud to my credit card company. I found a nice place elsewhere and other than this incident loved Barcelona.

When we arrived they gave us the wrong info to get into the apartment, then moved us to another set of apartments with no elevator, we struggled to get our cares up the small spiral stairs There was one towel in the room and the bar of soap had been used. The bedding was dirty and so was the floor WhenI tired to call back they ignored the call until the office was closed and only security answers We booked and paid 2 nights we didn’t stay both

They messed up our friends stay and ours. When there was repair needed in our friends room, when they didn't respond to and email about the problem (who is checking email as they are riding in the car)they presumed our friends were not coming and cancelled their reservation without bothering to find them another one. As a result we had to give up our room to go to a two bedroom unit (one bath for two ladies? Right) so basically they had a place to stay. It was dirty, there were none of the things travelers need (soap, kleenix, face towels, brush or soap to clean the dishes with) which they of course requested us to clean and take the garbage out..............

Bad air-con, tiny sick and missing items

Although the kitchen and bathroom appear to be recently renovated, the air conditioning unit definitely needs an upgrade. It was noisy, difficult to operate, and struggled to cool the room during the hot month of July. One night, it even dripped water onto the sofa, creating a mess and a lot of noise. The kitchen sink is extremely small and cannot accommodate even the provided plates. Basic kitchen items such as a chopping board and knives were missing, and there was no dish drying rack. Upon checking out, we received an email from the host requesting that we take out the garbage and wash all the dishes. Given the high cost of the rental, this request seemed rude and should be included in the service.

Die Unterkunft war zwar sehr hübsch, aber manche Fenster hatten ausschließlich nur Holzfensterläden keine Scheiben, wodurch es teilweise extrem kalt war. Die Heizung hat leider nicht funktioniert und weitere Decken gab es nicht. Ins Haus kommt man ausschließlich nur durch Zusenden eines Codes, ohne Schlüssel, was es sehr umständlich gemacht hat rein zu kommen, da der Code teilweise nicht funktioniert hat und ich immer wieder die zuständige Person kontaktieren musste, die nicht verfügbar war. Dadurch ging echt viel Zeit verloren und ohne Handy konnte man so auch nicht das Zimmer verlassen. Es gab keine Gepäckverstau-Möglichkeiten weswegen wir nochmal zum 300m entfernten Hostel laufen und dort Geld ausgeben mussten. Klopapier war nicht ausreichend da, mussten wir nachkaufen weil niemand nachsortiert hat. Im Bad war an der Decke Schimmel. Zentrale Lage toll.

Très déçu, déjà à l’arrivée, de monter au-moins 4 étages dans un escalier en colimaçon, très étroit, avec nos valises de 20 kg, c’est tout un exploit! Arrivée à une minuscule chambre, sans rangement et manquant de différents équipements! Je ne recommande pas cet endroit, surtout très dispendieux!

Des escaliers abrupt et exigu ne pemet pas de les escalader aisément. Au 3 e étage c’était la contrainte de trop. Je leur ai demande de me changer d’étage car ma compagne souffre de probleme articulaire mais aucune réponse. Vers la fin de mon séjour une coupure de courant qui a duré plus de 4 heures !!! Des appels incessant sans résultats surtout que c’était passé par un dimanche soir !!! Il nous ont envoyé quelqu’un qui nous a fait déménager dans un studio un étage plus bas.

Studio propre et fonctionnel dans une petite ruelle à côté des grandes avenues et à 20 min à pied de la plage. Très sécurisé, peu de bruit et une climatisation ! L’eau manque de pression mais c’est bien le seul (petit) inconvénient de cet hébergement !

Comfortable room in a great location

The location is great with lots of good food options around and activities. The room is clean, and very beautiful. Our toilet did have an issue and ran the entire time. The communication and ease of checking in was great.
