Bar Harbor is full of Inns and we only tried one.
Queen Anne’s Revenge was nice and quaint.
We had a good time and I would stay there again.
But I will describe what this property is like.
There are lots of rooms and 4 different houses used to make up this Inn. We stayed in the main house in room #7.
It had a small fridge and a medium size TV.
The room size was adequate.
The bed was fairly comfortable.
The shower was ok, but the curtain was a bit old
We were there in early October and the place was packed and parking a bit tight.
They offer breakfast snacks in the morning and coffee/tea all day. Muffins, bagel, yogurt, cereal packets, packaged oatmeal. Nothing hot or cooked. It was nice of them to do this, and met our needs.
The building is older, but well kept up.
It looked and smelled clean.
Most rooms have a small enclosed outside deck.
It was about 200 yards to the grocery store and 400-800 yards to shopping and dinning.
They have a small bar and an outdoor shuffle board in one of the buildings. We didn’t go there, but it was quiet.
None of these comments were meant to be negative, just informative. We had a good time staying here.
