My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend recently and it’s hard to even call this place a Motel. when you think of one, the Highbrook Motel is certainly not what comes to mind. this place is CLEAAANN!! The room was HUGE too! King sized bed was amazing, sheets clean, they text you a link to request anything you need and don’t bother you otherwise. We didn’t meet much staff but Adam at the front desk was awesome! So friendly and helpful. Everything was complimentary with your stay which was amazing. and those chocolate chip cookies they have…. i may have gained a few pounds.

5/5 Stars, we would give it 100 stars if we could. Our stay was wonderful! The room was so impressively clean, spacious, and peaceful. Parking was easy. We could order breakfast the night before and it would be delivered in the morning. Cookies and popcorn were offered to guests in the afternoon, as well as a variety of drinks. Staying at Highbrook in was a highlight of our trip. Thanks for a wonderful stay! 10/10 recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

We loved the Highbrook Motel. Incredibly well maintained property with an attention to hospitality unlike most others It was close to Acadia, Bar Harbor downtown, and had shuttles available. Great amenities like water, popcorn, soda, coffee and hot chocolate. Very pleased with our stay.

What a wonderful experience. An "old school" motel type property with high tech interaction. The folks checked via text daily to see if you needed anything, and also to get your breakfast order, which was then dropped off outside your door at the time you requested. It far exceeded a typical continental breakfast, to include hot sandwiches, scones, yogurt, bagels and more. Free water bottles and cold beverages always available plus warm chocolate chip cookies every night. So many special touches, like privacy screens between the rooms on the porch so guests aren't walking in front of your room, table and chairs in front of each room, cool wooden screen doors....plus the family is super friendly and helpful. It felt like home.

Great motel in a good location

Communication was fantastic throughout our stay. The room was ample sized with plenty of space for my spouse and I. Breakfast delivered was prompt every morning and they were very accommodating removing cheese on the breakfast sandwiches. We would definitely stay here again for our next visit to Bar Harbour.

Adam at front desk made us feel so welcomed. It is a motel but the nicest I've ever stayed. Small 1 sink bathroom but more than required for a couple. Breakfast served to your room which you you select the night before including what time you would like to be served. Close to the historic, shopping and the wharf. Very close to Acadia

This property was very accessible to Bar Harbor and to Acadia National Park. It was clean, easy to communicate with staff, breakfast was included as well as a vast array of other snacks and drinks. Unlimited supply of linens, towels and paper supplies. Very knowledgeable about eating options as well as tours and other interesting and fascinating sites. Will definately recommend and definately return. Adam was amazing!

Great location and convenient easy access to shopping and dining. Older property but in immaculate condition. Free breakfast delivery each morning and free snacks and drinks available in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again.

The whole motel was updated and very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Bathroom and shower were great. Loved the mid century theme. They have an amenities office that has all the things you would need. They have free cookies, cold drinks, coffee, popcorn, and ice. Every evening you’ll get a message asking for your breakfast order which is delivered every morning at your chosen time which is great especially if you’re going to go outdoors for the day. It’s a fantastic place to stay and I would gladly return.

We planned a last minute trip to the Bar Harbor area. Highbrook motel was very convenient from the free parking on-site, helpful web link with recommendations for the area, shuttle bus pick up at the hotel area, free breakfast, and the room was very clean. We also rented e bikes to ride on the carriage roads. The motel is located very close to the carriage road entrance
