This was a jewel of a find. Was retro-themed, super clean, not expensive and offered a bunch of extras we didn't even know about, like Smores every night and a bunch of hiking equipment you could borrow (we needed 3 umbrellas). Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was much better than we were expecting. Highly recommend!

Excellent value in a retro motel very close to Bar Harbor. Limited places for children to play during the off season, but the studio layout worked well for a family of six. Good personal touches with smores at night, family movies and many personal touches. Breakfast exceeded it's "continental" title, and rivaled any normal business-class hotel breakfast.

We loved the Bar Harbor Motel! The retro look was adorable, although the appliances and such were new and sparkling. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was perfect, and the texts from staff were helpful and sweet. Even better, you can just walk to the end of the cottages and directly into Acadia National Park. We also liked that the motel was not in the middle of town but close enough to walk to (for those who like walking).

Staff could not have been nicer. Clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast options- including lots of gluten free! So many fun little extras like trail mix bar, s'mores at night, trivia and movie and popcorn in the main lounge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely go back! Great location to downtown and ample parking on site. Hiking trails right from property!

We actually loved this quaint, retro/vintage vibe motel. The selling point for us in booking this motel for our trip was that it has a second bedroom with two beds - no sharing a room with our teen/adult boys, and no arguing between them about having to share a bed, without having to book an entirely separate room. The staff was great and very helpful. They continental breakfast each morning was actually quite generous, offering eggs, bacon, and sausage, along with either pancakes or waffles, which is better than the usual yogurt, granola, and bagel fare. The location was ideal....a short ride to Bar Harbor Village center, and very close to Acadia National Park.

They are prepared for everything. Things you might need or have left at home can be found at the front desk, movie days s’mores and so much more. Walking trails start right at the property line and close to town without being in town. Staff was nice and accommodating and Always there to help.
