The staff is incredibly hospitable. The room was nice and clean and the "little extras" were awesome. The pool and hot tub we clean, the yard games and fire pit were fun and the s'mores every night were a treat. The ability to hike into the park directly from the hotel property was a pleasant plus!

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The Acadia Inn was conveniently located between the Hulls Visitor Center to the National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. There was a hiking trail into the park in the backyard. The hotel set out charcuterie in the evening, offered s’mores most nights, had a terrific well hosted breakfast, and a morning trail mix make and take. I recommend it highly. It was chilly when we were there but the pool looked lovely. Other outdoor activities included Bocce ball, a playground, a fire pit, an outdoor movie area, and more.

This is a great place by any standards, but it’s the people who really make it stand out. Everyone I met was so warm, welcoming, and friendly. Their amenities really set them apart - warm cookies and charcuterie at check in, and that breakfast, wow. Hot selections change daily, but there is always pancakes and oatmeal, plus all the little extras to add, even Nutella. And every day, there’s a nice selection of fresh fruit, and yogurt cups with fresh fruit. Let’s not forget the s’mores every night at 7. The room was clean and comfortable, with nice towels in the bathroom. Loved the location - near the park entrance, but still close to downtown Bar Harbor. There is a stop out front for the Island Explorer shuttle, so you can get downtown without worrying about finding a parking space. All in all, one of the best stays I’ve had in a while.
