I checked in and the room we were given had 4 beds which worked out great as there were 4 of us. The room had everything needed for a lengthy stay but we only stayed over night. Very nice room.

We had a wonderful stay at the Motel on the River. The owners are wonderful, helpful people and they really show interest in their guests. They gave us good advice about places worth visiting in the area and we also used the Motel as a base to drive to Acadia National Park, which is beautiful. We ( parents with 3 young adults) climbed the beehive trail in the Park which is really worth climbing, not only for the adventure but also because of the beauty of te surroundings. Thanks for everything and the good and honest advice about the bigger room for 5!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location right next to the river was beautiful and made for a scenic, relaxing experience. Our room was very clean, with comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and a spotless bathroom. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

The stay at this Motel was absolutely wonderful. Quit area, other a train noise once, the river view was pretty!The room was very clean and very large for our party of 6. We had more then enough room for all of us to sleep. The only thing we found was the pull out bed was not very comfortable. We will be staying here again, this year and next. Staff very helpful and friendly.

While exploring New England with only a general idea of the areas we wanted to visit, our travels brought us to the Bangor area, where we stayed just outside the city in Old Town. We often prefer locally owned properties over chain hotels, and the Milford Motel did not disappoint. Our room was spacious, clean, and included a kitchenette, making it a great option for travelers planning an extended stay in the area. We were on the second floor and enjoyed pleasant views of the river. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The décor is somewhat dated, but everything was well maintained and comfortable. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would gladly stay here again when visiting the area.

The owners of the property were so friendly and personable! I arrived late. 11pm or later. Check in was a breeze. Had a nice conversation with the couple who own the property. Turns out we’re originally both from the same area. The room was so cute. Rustic charm with a nice flat screen tv. I loved the duck toilet paper dispenser. I will definitely be back. If you are in the Bangor area I highly recommend taking the 20 min drive to this place. Great place to spend the night!
