We stayed here for 3 nights and were very pleased with our stay. The rooms and bathrooms are very well kept, with air-con, water bottles and a cool bar downstairs. Location is amazing, everything is at a walkable distance- riverside, lots of markets and Khao San road. It felt very safe to stay here- we would definitely recommend :)
We loved this hostel! Stayed 3 nights. It’s family owned and we felt like we were a part of the family! 3 levels of rooms, only 10 rooms total. Not all full during our stay. Staff was kind and helpful. Loved snacks we’re available for free and food for purchase for any meal of the day. Rooms and shared bathroom room were always clean. Loved the updated modern feel blended with culture and tradition. Free bikes and east location to visit temples! Would book again.

Was a social hostel for sure, the location is great, the rooms & bathrooms were clean. Just a few little things that made it uncomfortable and irritating to me. For example, if you are short and thick good luck getting on the top bunk! They made the ladder steps a whole leg apart. Also, the rooms are very small but there’s a lot of space to put your stuff which is good. Another thing is that it is way too hot with no ventilation in the whole place except the lobby.
Enjoyed my stay it was close to everything I needed.
Knew it wouldn't be a sociable hostel but I felt like there could've been more of an atmosphere.
Staff were okay very quiet, didn't make any conversation and were not always sure on information on the local area.
I really enjoyed my stay at bed and Bike, the staff were very sweet and friendly. The place was very clean, toilets and showers and shared areas were kept spotless.
The beds were comfortable, rooms were very basic as expected in a hostel.
They have a lot of food and drink options on their menu and the prices are good. My only criticism would be to offer some healthier options!
Location was easy to walk to all main tourist attractions, about 15-30 minutes walk in each direction and you’d reach something to look at. Grand palace, Wat Pho, golden mountain, flower market, river boat rides and so on!
Lovely, helpful staff. Great hostel, very clean. Very good location for many of the tourist sights. If I return to Bangkok I will be happy to stay here again.
Great ambience! love every corner of this place. Effie was especially helpful in giving direction. With her help we had a chance to take local bus before heading to the airport. The hotel is located at charming old town where you can easily travel to Kao San Road, the Wat Pho, the 24 hrs flower market as well as the Grand Palace. Just 9 Thb the bus can take you to Hua Lamphong, where you can continue to travel by train or MRT.
The Bangkok bed and bike is a fine place to stay for a couple of days. We only stayed for a couple of days but don't really have anything negative to say. The staff was super friendly and the location is not far from Khaosan road if you wan't to party, but also close to the grand palace, the reclining budda and the flower market. We lived in the mixed dorm.
Very cool and comfortable place to stay! Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. Perfect location in the middle of the old town, close to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Khaosan road and China town. Would've loved to try the bike tour if we had time!
A great hostel with a chilled out vibe. There were a lot of little things which made the experience. For example cotton buds and wool provided in the bathrooms and the common areas are very nicely decorated and relaxing music is played. The breakfast provides a good selection and is a great way to start the day.
Also very conveniently located for big hitters such as the Grand Palace.
Not a party hostel at all which worked for me.
Only criticisms:
The self service laundry which is coin operated can cost more than many services offered typically 90-150 baht a load (160 in my case and still a little damp most other places charge 50 a kilo) for washing and drying.
The bunk beds were very creaky so movements at night were amplified. Nothing the free earplugs couldn’t fix though.
Overall a very pleasant and peaceful stay with friendly staff.
I really enjoy this hotel/hostel! It is a charming place to relax and play pool, enjoy a burger and fries and explore Bangkok. It is about a 15 minute walk to Koh San Road and only a five minute walk to the palace and the river taxis.
I totally recommend this place, especially if you have a small budget and if you want to visit the most beautiful temples of Bangkok ! The staff is very nice, their members speak a good english (rare in Thailand...) and are helpful with the smile ! The Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kheo and the Grand Palace are located 5min away by walk and it's very practical in this very huge and hot city ! It'a also not far from Kaoh San Road (the place to party in Bangkok) but it presents the advantage to be located in a calm place (except for the noise of the cars if you have a light sleep)
The rooms are clean, with the AC (essential in Bangkok !) and the breakfast is very complete and tasty !
The only inconvenient is the distance from the closest metro station (Hua Lomphong station) ! The best is to take a taxi if you're afraid to walk (or you can take a tuk-tuk but you have to be very prudent with this kind of transports because of the prices you have to negociate with the driver BEFORE the course and be careful with the frauds so I don't recommend this kind of transports) ! The best according to me is to walk and it's a good way to discover the city (with a good map !). But be prudent to not lose yourself in the little streets of the Chinese district ! It's located 30min away by walk from the train station Hua Lomphong !
To conclude, I'm very satisfied of my journey in this guesthouse !
We were so lucky to end up at Bangkok Bed and Bike. It's such a lovely place and the staff are so helpful. We stayed in two different private rooms and they are comfortable and clean with HUGE beds! The shower rooms are also very clean and modern, the location is perfect too, five minute walk from away from Wat Pho, Royal Palace, Museums, and the Chao Phraya River. Also just ten mins walk from China town and a 15 minute walk from Koh San Road down one straight road (the further away from that road, the better, in our opinion! But if thats your thing then at least you know you'll sleep as your hostel isn't disturbed by all the noise!)
This is a lovely place to stay and we are so glad we found it :)
Lo único que no me gusto era el olor de las habitaciones y que a pesar que tiene ventanas estas no se podían abrir y estaban tapadas como con una lámina. Es necesario baño de mujer en el tercer piso.
