Good choice for families but maybe not city peeps!

The hotel is nice - very interesting architecture with great views of there surrounding urban agglomeration, but worn out for being such a new building (elevators, room interior). The spaces are large and well-designed but feel somewhat empty. The room is very nice however you could hear children screaming next door, below and above us. Also the lack of a/c in the hallways made the corridors and circulation spaces noticeably uncomfortable during the day. However, despite these relatively minor issues, the staff made a real effort to make us feel welcome and the breakfast was well presented and good. There is a well-appointed fitness centre, a huge pool, conference spaces, a wedding chapel? and a bar/lounge, with outside terrace. The latter zone doesn't work as well as it could - for example the singer in the bar was situated in the smoking area while the bar itself was separated from her by a glass wall - a strange concept.

nice new hotel with bad management

nice and pleasant hotel with stunning view and facility, like the room cleanliness, the view and amenity, they have full ranges of spa facilities with nice hot and cool water pools. the hotel is a bit far and secluded , nice point for guest who is looking for good rest and privacy. the only drawback is the hotel management, for hotel that proud to be in service management, the hotel failed to do so, during my stay i was woken up by loud music on the Saturday morning , 6 AM plus, the music was so loud with mirror shaking bass and apparently was from hotel staff mass morning exercise , it was lasted for hours approximately, I called the front desk and specifically lodged complaint case about it , however it was not been taken seriously and I didn’t hear any further news from hotel management. I purposely chosen this hotel for good rest and this should be the sole purpose of the hotel itself, not bugged the guests with full blast music in the Saturday morning , how disappointed with that , and no one treated this complaint seriously

Great hotel. Nice gym and spa. Everything was really good. Minor thing was about noise from construction works, but it was few hours in late mornings per day, so not much bother. Will definitely stay again.

Long wait for check-in, worth the view

I reserved 2 superior rooms for 2 nights in this hotel about a month before arrival. I requested ocean view and highest level for both, connecting and not far from elevator. After 45 minutes waits they gave me 1 room with mountain view on the 7th floor, that I gave to my parents, and 20 minutes later, an ocean view superior room on the 12th floor. Assuming it was one of the highest occupancy saturday, though reserved a month ahead, the reception would give you more attention if you insisted them or if you're westerners. I'm no pushy nor racist, but 1 hour waiting is a bit too long. The reception called my cell phone on the following day, a little insisting me to move the 7th level superior room to another one on level 8 with ocean view and proposed also to move all personal belongings to the new room. Kind a hard to refuse. When I arrived, the view was still stunning, but my parents had to walk all the way until the end of the level 8. They didn't reply when I asked to move to another room near the elevator. Fortunately my parents enjoyed the view as I am.

Price in hotels.com higher than actual price

I pay Rp770.000,-+21% tax and service=Rp931.700,- without breakfast. But when i arrived at the hotel (desember 17, 2014) in the front desk there is todays rate only Rp916.300,- include breakfast for 2 person. I fell very disappointed, i have to pay breakfast Rp250.000,- for 2 person, arround 25% from my room rate, it is means that i pay very expensive.

Enperiences at Novotel Hotel, Lampung

The hotel facilities are superb. However, the rules for swimming pools are unclear. I was not allow to swim because I was not bring my swim shirt and was not allow to take off my shirt. But there were others who can swim by taking off their T-shirt. The rules and implementation need to be standardized to everybody

Is this a hotel ?

Why is the bathrobe placed in the room when you have to exchange the bathrobe with a towel before going to the pool, we complained to the assistance manager on duty, he said it was the hotel regulation and there was nothing he can do, I was speechless and insulted, we cancelled our swimming trip and went back to our room. Do hotels have this kind of regulation, honestly, we never had such experience during our stay in any hotels all around the world. Could you even describe this hotel as a hotel ? you'll be the judge....

Nice room, great view from the restaurant and premier lounge, helpful staffs. Great for couples and families as well. Novotel Lampung must be the best hotel in Lampung so far.

昔のこの町を知っているので、こんな素晴らしいホテルができているのが夢のようだった。町の灯りがきれいで海も遠くまで見渡せる。一晩の滞在だったが、もう少し滞在したい感じだった。
