"The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

"What a fantastic place to relax. From the first moment, when you drive down the bamboo tunnel, you just know its going to be great. Stayed for a couple of nights in a Cliff Tent Pool Villa, which had great views across the ocean to Menjangan Island. The Cliff Tents are well spaced out, so it is very relaxing. Tents are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Food at both the restaurant and as Room service was excellent, and we had a delicious floating breakfast for both mornings, sat watching deer over the water in the West Bali National Park.. Would highly recommend this place for a getaway, and we already have another booking for our next stay. Just remember that there is not a lot else in this area, other than a snorkelling trip to the island, and you will not be dissapointed"

"This was our second time staying in Batu Ampar Resort. The property is a 10-15 minutes walk from Pasir Putih Beach. The rooms are comfortable, the AC is cold, and the outdoor bathroom is a nice addition. The room was cleaned daily. The food is delicious, and the staff is absolutely lovely! We very much enjoyed our stay in Batu Ampar. Thank you all! "

"What can I say this is my second stay here and each time the place is amazing from the villa to pool to the surrounding area just amazing and well thought out. The Euro Restaurant was ok but the Indonesian Restauant overlooking sunset was out of this world. Service was excellent. Reception was interesting asking for same docs again even though were repeat guests and have already given our documents weird. Welcome drink needs an upgrade lol"

"This is a gorgeous boutique hotel -- it felt like an oasis to us. The rooms are very spacious and many of them are their own little bungalow. The hotel was clearly set up by someone who had passion for this; the detailing and decorations are very tasteful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When the main ferry service had terrible delays due to an incident, the manager, Mey, chartered a boat for us and arranged for a car in Bali to get us to our destination. The food at the hotel was very good too. Well worth a stay if you are in the area!"
