"Hotel was quiet and not too far from the city. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was very nice. The part of Belfast that it is located in is a little jaded and views from windows are very restricted in some rooms. Off street park was good."

"My husband and I stayed her in July 2026. We were, initially, a little disappointed with the location of the hotel as it seemed a bit far away from the attractions we wanted to see. This turned out not to be a problem.as Belfast itself was quite easy to navigate. On check-in, we were infor.ed that our room was in the 'newly refurbished' annexe opposite. The hotel itself was lovely. Nicely decorated and furnished. We went over to our room and were shocked that we had an apartment, not just a room. It had been beautifully designed, with huge rooms and modern furniture. The things that let it down, however, was the quality of the refurbishment. The ceilings were cracked, the fridge door didn't fit and the seal around the shower was either mouldy or dirty. Not the fault of the hotel staff but the guests in another room came in late banging doors and talking really loudly. I did report this the following morning but don't think anything would have been done. On the plus side, though, the food was excellent. A great selection of continental and cooked buffet food, with alternatives available to order at extra cost. We also ate there on the first night. The sea bass was absolutely delicious and is highly recommended. I think, if I were to visit again, I would stay at the Malone but would ask for a room in the hotel."

"Front desk staff was great. If you're a Marriott member you can check in early if your room is available. The rooms are large, clean, nicely decorated, and had everything you could need. Beds were comfortable with different pillows so that's great as it allows you to find one best for you. Bathroom also spacious and clean with really nice big towels. Location was great, we walked everywhere. Only negative was the noise. There was music playing around the city and you could hear it, however I didn't go all night, stopped relatively early. We were also in the room right above the hotel's little patio area and when people were down there socializing it was loud. Rooms should be better soundproofed. Slept with my ear buds in and my white noise app going, so wasn't disturbed. They don't have parking but you park at the Great Northern car park and walk about 7 min to the hotel with your parking ticket and they validate for a better rate. You pay the hotel directly. Overall great stay and would recommend it."

"This was a delightful hotel. Very eco friendly, which I loved. It was close to great shopping and dining. The restaurant was good as well. Very eclectic design and interior. I booked the hotel and several travel companions decided to also stay there and they repeatedly told me how much they loved it. We would definitely stay there again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t think of anything that was not top notch."
