「The house and the surrounding park are exactly how you imagine a country residence. Quite spectacular. The interior of the main house is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was in the former stables and was overall nice and comfortable, however it was lacking a wardrobe or anything to hang coats.」

「Everything about Tankardstown is top notch, from the bubbly welcome you receive to every interaction with the most accommodating staff. We loved our two-level, lovely decorated cottage room that included a small kitchen. If you can get a room, don't hesitate to book. You'll love it. Next time I return I'm staying as long as I can!」

「I think this was the strangest place I've ever stayed. It has a lot of promise - tucked quietly away in a remote corner of a small town off the beaten path. But I could hardly get anyone to check me in and I had to come stand by the front desk to get ANY wi-fi at all. The lady at the desk agreed that the wi-fi could be "a little dodgy" ... that's an understatement! In 2015 there is no excuse to not have solid wi-fi connectivity throughout a small hotel area like this one. After the parties ended...
